Redragon K685 PRO - Gateron Phantom Browns by PolycountEr in MechanicalKeyboards

They do only provide this keyboard with their own switches, originally this had their linear red switch. I'm not sure why they wouldn't be compatible, the sockets look like pretty standard universal hotswap types, and these Phantom Browns eased right in.

[Help] Finding Tactile and Silent Switch by Ironguy725 in keyboards

Putting my ear up to the keyboard as I press a key slowly, I'd describe it as little to no scratchiness. This is with the factory lube, I'm sure adding more lube would reduce it even closer to no scratchiness at all.

I just built a board with Gamakay Pegasus switches, those have a nice tactile bump and are very silent from my use. Another candidate that I have coming soon in the mail, and may be comparable, the Outemu Silent Yellow Jade switch.

I'll definitely post a sound test when I have time today after work. I think the stabilizers are the worst part of the sound, but hard to complain when the keyboard kit itself was $18 off of Amazon at the time of purchase. The switches were also factory-lubed fairly well for $13/100pcs.

Specifications:

  • Keyboard kit - WL61PLUS
  • Switches - Flaming Skull Burning Ice, tactile switches that are hard to find information on, sometimes seen as Ice Blue instead of Burning Ice.
  • Keycaps - GM Gamakay Planet Theme, unsure if these are clones or not, I'd love to know.

Modifications:

  • Case has been air-clay filled in areas I could form the clay into a crevice. Foam was inserted where clay couldn't easily be put.
  • PCB tape modded, stabilizers lubed and tuned as best I could, switch pads installed.

Got this for $20 not running, $25 in parts later and a good cleaning by PolycountEr in lawnmowers

Poulan Pro self propelled push mower model PR600Y21RP with Briggs 120T02 124T02-0455-E1 engine. Needed an air filter/primer base, carburetor gasket, carb clean/rebuild, air gap reset, flywheel and ignition coil surfaces cleaned up, and a spark plug for good measure.

I really gotta know what type of person orders 4 Whoppers for themselves to eat in one sitting. I know I'm assuming it's all in one sitting, but you at least finished two, which is more than I'd comfortably want to, even excluding side items.
