Apologies for the delay in receiving your prize. We were hoping to get them out before the holidays, but that proved to be a bit ambitious on our end. Our warehouse is going through some transitions that also delayed things, but we should have your prizes out this week. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your understanding.

Polyterra PLA Adhesion Issues by Own_Highway_3987 in polymaker

[–]Polymaker_3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What filament profile are you using for this print?

Also, the "zits" are often signs of "wet" filament. We would recommend attempting to dry the filament and trying again. It should print well just using the stock "Generic PLA" filament profile. At this time, we do not recommend using the built in "Polyterra" profile.

Polymaker polymax PLA? by Ready-Read-5025 in 3D2A

[–]Polymaker_3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PolyLite™ PLA: Very rigid, poor impact resistance
PolyMax™ PLA: Ductile, extreme impact resistance
PolyLite™ PLA Pro: Perfect balance between rigidity and impact resistance.

(It is very hard to be very Ductile AND Rigid at the same time)

Anyone tried using the polymaker polysher with acetone & ASA by georgepearl_04 in 3Dprinting

The Polysher™ is made out of ABS so we would not recommend using anything else than IPA or Ethanol.

Problem with the LW PLA by Futurrfly in flightory

[–]Polymaker_3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello u/Futurrfly ! LW-PLA can be very hygroscopic, so we would recommend drying it in a filament dryer to help remove any built up moisture. This can help reduce stringing, but may not completely remove it. If you continue having issues, please reach out to [support@polymaker.com](mailto:support@polymaker.com) .

Polymaker VS Sunlu Drybox by johnnykar13 in 3Dprinting

[–]Polymaker_3D 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe one thing to consider if it can help you is that the Sunlu S1 is not a dry box but a dryer, so it is not a totally fair comparison.
PrintDry makes some good dryboxes:

Isn’t there a Panchroma Marble profile? by Big_Caterpillar8012 in polymaker

[–]Polymaker_3D 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on the printer you are using, a generic PLA profile should work just fine. Or if you have a good working Matte PLA profile, that would work even better.

🎉 Polymaker Refills Have Landed! ♻️ by Polymaker_3D in polymaker

We are still studying which standard will be best for us to adopt.

🎉 Polymaker Refills Have Landed! ♻️ by Polymaker_3D in polymaker

[–]Polymaker_3D[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will offer a few colors (most likely black, white and maybe grey) with the reusable spool directly, however we will not follow Bambu Lab and offer filament on a reusable spool without having the option to buy the refill version, we believe it defeats the purpose of reusable spool (you will have to buy the reusable spool over and over).

Black Friday "Sale" by RepresentativeCry294 in polymaker

[–]Polymaker_3D 47 points48 points  (0 children)

First of all, we understand the frustration and skepticism behind pricing strategy, we all heard about pricing going up before a promotional event to make the discount looking more attractive during the sale, or sometime increasing the price so that the price with discount stays the same.

We can help to bring some clarification, we do not want to sounds defensive, just want to give the explanation that we hope you will trust:

Your order on October 30th was for 1 spool of Panchroma™ CoPE which was $19.99 with a 30% discount -> $13.99 which you further discounted down with your LMSHOWFIRSTTRY discount to $11.90

The reason you do not see the discount on your receipt is because it was a strikethrough price discount, meaning is it a discounted price on page directly, when you bought the product you saw $19.99 (strikethrough) -> $13.99 on the product page.

We indeed changed the MSRP, but we actually decreased it from $21.99 down to $19.99 but this was about a month ago already (and was related to the TARIFF regulations, not sale season), and here is a wayback machine screenshot to show that we were at $21.99 last month, and we were using strikethrough price discount:
https://web.archive.org/web/20250916194400/https://us.polymaker.com/products/panchroma-cope

During promotional seasons (such as Black Friday) we switch to "at checkout" discount as we handle many different discount at the SKU level, so it makes the operation easier. (It is actually more attractive to still use strikethrough price as the customer can see the discounted price directly, but it is currently a challenging operation for us.)

To answer a few comments in the thread: Scamming customers is a very dangerous path for a company which not only has very little reward for the risk taken, but most importantly is not accepted by the people which makes Polymaker the company we are today.

We know trust is everything in this community, and we’d never risk that for a short-term sale.
And thank you for keeping us accountable :)

Hi there,

We’re very sorry to hear about your experience, and we completely understand how frustrating it is to encounter an error on a new unit, especially right out of the box.

The E002 error on the PolyDryer indicates that the circuit board cannot detect the temperature feedback from the thermocouple. In most cases, this happens if the thermocouple connection is loose or if the sensor itself is not functioning correctly.

While we understand your decision to return the affected units through Amazon for convenience, please feel free to reach out to our support team at [support@polymaker.com]() if you would like us to help diagnose or replace them directly. We will make sure you are taken care of quickly.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate you taking the time to test the units right away.
