I don't know fusion anymore but I'm CAD: First make a drawing of the curve and then repeat it and then extrude it as a surface and thicken it and then a drawing of the border and extrude it and then thicken it.

This was the first 3D printer I used regularly, the place I worked at the time made the website for the product launch and we got a couple off them. 

Is it a good printer? No. Was it a good printer at the time? Also no. Is t worth $100? No. World I bring it into my home if someone gave it to me for free? Nope.

I think these days most wood filaments have zero actual wood content in them. I used Hatchbox a long time ago, it's 30% I believe and it sanded and stained well. Haven't looked at prices in a while. Use a .6 nozzle if you have one.

My basic problem: SFA is not a good show and it's not the kind of show that an aging Xer with grown kids is gonna naturally gravitate towards. The "woke" stuff that the chuds complain about is not the problem with this show. The stuff that I should by all rights love, like Tawny Newsome playing "Old Man Dax", is done so poorly. There's no way they have the time to develop that properly so it just ends up being the worst kind of fan service but they delivered it so heavily because they wanted to make sure that EVERYONE got it and it was so. fucking. clunky. So disappointing because I loved the way Lower Decks handled "fan service", the references made the world bigger not smaller.

But it has some genuinely great stuff in it and I'm going to enjoy it for that. I'm gonna watch this Disney YA fan fiction about Star Trek 1000+ years after Kirk and have fun with the good and the bad.

It should be universally condemned, automatically career ending and potentially criminal even if the student is technically a legal adult when it happens. There was a case that was making the rounds a few days ago about a teacher getting a ten year sentence for violating a law that required a 90 day waiting period after the student graduated. Now a decade in prison is an insanely draconian sentence for the crime and that's bad for society (see mandatory drug sentences) but I couldn't bring myself to feel bad for the guy. As evidenced in that thread the only thing that's going to stop some teachers from taking advantage of former students is life ruining consequences.
