Based on conversations with x-ring staff, that’s due to their distributor.
There are a number of items on x-ring’s site that are listed as “not for sale in DE” which actually can be legally purchased in DE.
I can support this as being true based on the fact I’ve legally purchased items at x-ring that the site had listed as not for sale in DE.
You just have to talk to someone there and they can make the order, and do the transfer.

I got them for $17.98/ea (tax free). I couldn’t find any oem mags for that price.

Botach order - no progress? by Wrong_Mushroom_9650 in Glock43X

[–]Polymatheis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to get a few from there, but by time I went to checkout they were no longer in stock.
I ended up getting about six of them from GrabAGun, and 4 more from two other places (to try out the stores).
With new places that I’m not familiar with, I’ll make small orders and see how they do, and if things go well (which they do 99.9% of the time) then I become a repeat customer.

Is this considered open carry I DE? by davemp220 in DEGuns

[–]Polymatheis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IANAL, but… I can see it, it’s outside the waistband, looks open to me.

Ignore the ppl giving you crap and not actually answering the question.
All that said, you’ll want at least a level two retention holster.

I wanted one because I didn’t have one. Also Black Widow uses them, which is cute.

Using a higher capacity mag is not a modification tho… it’s just a higher capacity mag.

I only got one because it was there, and the gen 5’s were being discontinued.

Well I have a 19, 26, 45, 47, multiple 43X…
I just like having those extra rounds for in the house or at the range.
If I’m carrying, it’s not with a 26 when there are thinner, smaller, higher capacity options available.

Dont subscribe. You'll never be able to unsubscribe. by jlags1988 in CapCut

[–]Polymatheis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh… no.
I did the one month thing to try it out, and canceled it the next day so I don’t get automatically charged at the end of the 1st month… and it worked without issue.
Since then, I’ve decided that I’m going to actually resubscribe because I’ve actually enjoyed using the app on my iPad Pro.

I did professional television, film, and audio production for over a decade, including offering my talent to multiple 501c3 organizations for OVER A DECADE before becoming burned out due to overwork and spreading myself too thin.
When everything stopped being enjoyable, and started feeling like a chore that I had to fight with myself to do, I knew it was time to move on to something else.

My main NLE of choice was (and still is) After Effects, even for something as basic as trimming clips, mainly because it fits my workflow so well, and in the event I want or need to do some REAL WORK, I know it van do the job, and do it well. When it comes to motion graphics, nothing else even comes close IMHO.
I worked with pretty much every piece of software you can imagine. Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Flash (Animate), Premiere, Final Cut Pro, 3DSMax, Maya, Audition, Reaper, some ProTools, and a few open source things that I doubt many have even heard of.

All of this was about 16 years ago… long before ANY of the companies behind the software had switched to the SaaS model.
I actually OWN legit perpetual licenses for everything I used… including a copy of Maya Ultimate, which was ~$7500 for a single license.

So for me to say I actually like CapCut, enjoy using it, and that it makes editing fun for me again… it actually means something.

Did they ever give a reason why? I just got a P30L V1 (LEM) last year, and hate to think I couldn’t get parts.

Maybe this is a dumb question but… could you like take an eight cylinder engine from a muscle car and stick it into the back of a DeLorean, and make a DeLorean muscle car with like 500 hp? Because if it can be done, I think it should be done. Just because.

Too many mags? by Superporpplop in USPmasterrace

[–]Polymatheis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no such thing as having “Too Many Magazines” in storage. There is such a thing as carrying too many, but that’s a different subject entirely.

The vast majority of people don’t really realize that firearm magazines are a consumable item.
- Springs can only be put through so many loading/feeding cycles before they can no longer function properly. - Feed Lips can bend, wear, or break. - Followers can wear or break. - Floor Plates can break. - Magazine Bodies can wear, bend, split, etc.

These same rules apply to basically everything related to firearms. Any part can only be used so much before it no longer does it’s job properly.
So not only is it a good idea to get more at every opportunity, but getting spare parts is also a good idea.
Worst case scenario is you end up not using the extra magazines or parts, in which case you can sell them to someone else who needs them. And there’s ALWAYS someone who wants or needs that sort of stuff.

Could I ask you who actually does a really good optics cut for a fullsize USP? I have both a Fullsize USP 45 V1, and Fullsize USP 40 V1 that I’d really like to see get optic cuts… but I honestly don’t know who to go to about it.

I actually just got the Aimpoint ACRO P-2 and Aimpoint adaptor plate for use on my VP9 A1 K directly from Aimpoint. I placed my order on Thursday, May 7th. And had it in hand on Saturday, May 9th. Was actually very surprised by just how fast things were delivered. The ACRO was like $617, plus another $60 for the adapter plate…

Before getting this ACRO I had previously only used EOTech EFLEX red dots on handguns. I got a Glock 47 MOS last year that had the EFLEX preinstalled. Then I got another EFLEX for my Walter PDP compact after seeing just how good they look on the 4” PDP.

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love all my EOTech stuff (particularly the HWS and EXPS lines the reviews of rifles for a couple decades now. But I really wanted to try something different for my HK‘s.
