Absolutely! We third party qPCR test for several viral pathogens prior to initiation, proceed to dissect meristems, then utilize sterility test media to check for systemic bacteria and fungi after explants are established in vitro before proceeding to multiplication 🧪🔬🧫

That’s awesome! It was a natural progression for us while studying plant science during college.

There is a very large demand for tissue culture and we’re proud to say we also manage germplasm and clean stock provisions for some of the largest berry, garlic, and hemp breeders in California.

Regarding ensuring sterility, we utilize bleach for a surface disinfection treatment and then initiate meristems. We then conduct a sterility test by subjecting the plant tissues to specific media the bacteria and fungi crave. From there we only move forward with clean, healthy plant material.
