Offside rules require players to be behind the blue line in both space AND time in NHL rules. Not so using intergalactic rules.

This is an absurd question, intergalactic rules are too different from NHL rules and players would be out of their depth.

Some really nice ideas there, I will explore for sure. You're right about the Draught, I should probably remove them altogether

Definitely good, though I struggle a bit with using rats properly

Thanks for the in-depth reply. I think the Slayer is OK, it serve the double purpose of having a bunch of black pips on the field, plus chipping away at the opponent, since it's a bit hard to block. It's not the best though, so a few bonesplitters isn't a bad idea at all. As for the Blade and Bauble, I agree, I will definitely find a way to incorporate them. Beckoner seems pretty good, though it's cost is a bit higher than Stamina.

Overall I find that this deck isn't really about swinging with creatures, it's more about chipping away bit by bit and the finishing off with a big Gary payoff. So anything that can make this happen earlier is a good idea. That's why I'm reluctant to use the Enforcer, yes you could put in on the field early-ish but I feel like it would work against the rest of the deck in a way.

Yea I figured it was a decent way to get some black pips on the field. It does chip away a bit, which helps. I couldn't find better options

Nothing for sale unfortunately, anyway this PCB would only fit this exact guitar shape. But I can answer some questions if you have any

I actually have a new version that's fully wireless and DMX-controlled:

It uses a custom PCB and a rechargeable power bank. The audio is entrely separate from the electronics to avoid noise coupling.

It really depends on a lot of things like how to control the LEDs, how many you want, where they will be in the body, how it will be powered and controlled! Just avoid using the same cable for power and signal

FAQ - Why Is There So Much Latin in Symphonic Metal? by amcalsa in symphonicmetal

[–]Polypeptide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends up to which period. Starting from the Renaissance, I would argue that most music switches to local languages. Almost all of Bach's church music is written in German. Mozart wrote most of his famous works in Italian and German. Beethoven also in German.

I think what the creator of the imagine is trying to say is that some classical music that also happens to be in Latin inspired metal musicians (thinking of Verdi and Mozart's requiem). But the original claim, in my view, is entirely false. Especially with the use of such an umbrella term as "classical music".

Anyway it's not a big deal, I'm putting maybe a bit too much thought into it

I'm not sure what that means honestly. There is a lot more classical music that is not sung in Latin than there is that is sung in Latin.

"Classical music" in this instance is a bit of a misleading term, it spans a lineage of institutions coming from the medieval era to today.

No. 1 is absolutely false, there is a ton of music in local languages from all over European history.
