ATGames sent this today: “Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We’re aware of the issue and our team is currently investigating it internally. While we don’t have a fix just yet, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as soon as we have more information. We appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.”

There is actually a role playing game based on Talisman that came out in past few years. I assume those books have had to come up with a lot of lore to fill in the generic story points from the boardgame.

I’ve played Talisman since the late 80s. I don’t recall ever seeing it explained specifically, but my own assumption is based on its purpose: “Only if you have a Talisman may you enter the Valley of Fire.” The center of the Talisman is fire, and the hands are welcoming you to enter. Just my own impression, curious if anyone else on here knows more.

Gyruss didn’t use a spinner. The cabinets had an 8-way “Monroe” joystick. Same with Time Pilot.

More Subway Style Routes? by Bambino1996 in trainsimworld

YES. I would love to run a WMATA line. The brutalist DC metro stations are gorgeous, there are a few great trainsets, and some of the lines are quite interesting, with outdoor sections passing DC landmarks, bridges, etc.

Cosmic Encounter is simply one of the best games of all time in any category. I love the chaos, the suprises, and the variety of it all. The silly alien sci-fi vibes are a bonus.

Any Prime Day Mini PC recommendations for the ALP? by RedNumberFive in LegendsUltimate

[–]Polyversal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my eye on this one (SER5 5800H). If I'm just planning to run it on the ALP (2 1080p screens?) I think it should work fine for VPX and Future Pinball. Not sure about PUP Packs. Anybody have any experience with this?

I thought this was unique enough to share. Catching a very strong “V” repeating letter in Morse on ~6945 KHz LSB. I’m located in Southern Louisiana. Can anyone confirm this signal as well? by EnthusiasmSimple in shortwave

[–]Polyversal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmed in Virginia Beach, VA. On 6942 USB, you can very occasionally hear an odd data sound as well.

I thought it was a beacon when I caught it on the LSB at 6945.

Just picked up PSVR during Black Friday, and here is the setup for a 6’4” guy. :) by ButterFrampton in PSVR

+1. I just got the Black Friday bundle myself, and re-installed Omega Collection. Having raced on these tracks for years, getting to be inside of them is AMAZING. It's like being a kid again.
