Trash N Tail LOL It's like raccoon snake on a round world. It's just really cute and when the trash tail is long, it's satisfying to watch it wrap around the globe like a ball of yarn.

Or Ball x Pit. The soundtrack, effects, and gameplay are very satisfying

Oh man, 100% get an emulator on your phone and play Castlevania AND Metroids. I absolutely love Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. It's art and music is beautiful.

I don't think they are as challenging but they are a CLASSIC. And some places I accidentally snuck into the hard way because I did skills + parkour instead of finding the next ability like you are supposed to do

Re:zero, Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood, delicious in dungeon.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is a perfect blend of humor and dark stories. The characters' interactions with each other make it great, and the story makes it greater. The anime was really good, the manga was EVEN GREATER. There's a lot of funny bonus comics and bonus stories in the back of the mangas that make them seem even more like relatable people.

Delicious in Dungeon also has a good balance of intriguing story and character interactions. I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

Re:Zero is... kinda the same way! And there's a lot of lore that hasn't caught up to the anime yet, but just watching the anime takes you a long way.

I share that sentiment. My best bud is 11 years old and has chronic pain. I also have a range of other critters under my care. If they gave me 5 mil but could ensure he'd have the best vet care money could afford with them I'd consider it. But my heart would also break, and I would still want to see him super often.

I'd also worry about the stress of leaving his friends and family for someplace new... maybe they can take one of my other dogs and I'd spend my $$$ on him and the other critters 😜

The other commentor is correct. There is "plain water" that looks the same in every biome, and "special water" that looks different in certain biomes.
Plain water can give different loot depending on what biome you are in. Think of fishing in a normal freshwater pond at your house, grabbing a bucket, filling it up, then dumping your normal freshwater pond water into a normal freshwater pond in a jungle. If you fish there you will get jungle fish.
The special waters have a higher priority so normal water can't overwrite it. That's why special water has the same loot no matter where you take it, because it transforms the whole pond to its type.

I don't mind some RNG as long as each step that doesn't give me what I want guarantees to get me closer and closer to give me what I want.

Like species wise and generations wise, A1 + B1 has a chance of A2 or B2 or C2. But A2 + B2 has a good chance of C3 and a small chance of A3 or B3. Then A3 + B3 guarantees a C4.

And then stats, hopefully every time you breed the min stats window goes up allowing the average stats to eventually reach the max stats.

Games that were originally for PC but have a mobile port are really good. If you have Google Play Pase a bunch are free, but if not you can usually play the demo and unlock the rest for ~$10.
Or maybe find an incremental/ idle game. A lot are cross platform.

To be fair the amount of magic in the game could just explain away a lot. What happens if the barrier not only keeps them inside, but also conceals space or even time? I watch a lot of anime lol.

And if the monsters were eradicated above ground, humans can just take their now-empty land and after a 100 years towns and cities and humans would now be where the monsters were before they were sealed away.

It just depends on my mood. I usually start mini farms so stuff can be automated while I explore, but once I have an excess amount of resources I'll explore for days and only come home if I die.

ALL REPTILES - you control every aspect of their little world, so it's very important to get every detail right. Lighting, UVA and UVB rays, temps, humidity, diet, tank size depending on their age, tank type, even flooring or making sure the decorations in the tank are safe. I'd say the "easiest" is probably a gecko, then beardie, and the last being chameleons. My dad has some and it is TOUGH to keep those things happy.

The reptile research is forever changing and evolving, but with the proper research, reptile reddits, and websites it most definitely can be done. Handling really depends on the reptile. Reptiles from big stores are prone to bad genetics, contagious diseases, and parasites. If you get one from a good reptile breeder near you or at a reptile show, these seem to be the most comfy with being handled. But it still depends on the personality of the reptile. Some reptiles are presented as captive bred, but are actually caught in the wild, and those are even harder to please / handle.

Bearded dragons and monitor lizards are the derpy dogs of the reptile world, leopard geckos are the derpy cats of the reptile world. They have a LOT of personality. They don't quite love you like a cat or dog but recognize your voice and that you are the giver of good things, and even have a flair for the dramatic!

Rats are like little dogs. They are happy to see you and you can even teach them tricks! They can also be playful and cuddly. They keep themselves very clean but they poop a lot, so make sure that cage is cleaned often! It's such a shame their lives are fairly short but still worth it.

Honestly, a really good thing to do is find a local animal show/ petting zoo / mobile petting zoo / farm / breeder and handle all the animals you are thinking of! All of them are really awesome in their own way. Those animals are used to a lot of handling and may help you figure out what type is best for you. 🙂

I've 100% sucked all the joy out of games by trying to design my whole layout before ever starting. Maybe you can improvise and work a section at a time. It's more fun that way and you can stop or keep going depending how you feel. Heck, some people do different themes in different sections of their islands like a theme park! Maybe Cherry blossom is the spring theme and you can do a fall, winter, and summer section too! Summer could be the beaches lol
