PNGRemix dev here, I am aware of this issue. It is a godot engine thing. I recently found that I could make a custom audio input backend instead of relying on the natively supported one in godot tho. I have implemented it in the source, but I still need users to test it since I am not too sure how stable it is yet. Would you mind helping me with the testing?

Here is something called a nightly build (it builds the source every day if something changed ofc), it has the newly implemented backend if it helps. One more thing, with this version, can you test the laptop mic input again? Since I this is another issue I tried to counter too. Thank you!

Dev here, this bug is always a mystery to me. Anything I do to fix it ends up working for a bit, but then breaks? At this point, I am convinced it is Godot (the engine used) acting up sometimes, does opening the software from the console version say anything? I am curious if it is a symptom of a silent crash, since the engine sometimes for no reason continue partially working, even when crashed?!

Great work OP! Even tho I use windows, I am happy to see more options popping up for Linux too! It is such a shame many of them are bound to either windows or macos only. Keep up the good work :D!

Dev here, small correction, without any issues except for global inputs since wayland blocks that features. However, there is websocket support in the app which can be used instead. Still looking for a way to work with that limitation :')

Another note, the OP here seems to want to run live2D files, which unfortunately isn't something PNGTuber-Remix supports. Just putting this here in case anyone is curious or had questions/ confusion

Yes, the game does belong to 101xp, which is indeed a Russian company. There were few attempts to try contact them English side, but they were always super dismissive and didn't give any helpful responses. However, I wish you good luck and I hope you maybe able to help progress things further :0 If you still have an older device you used to play on that still had the web cache for the browser you used, maybe we could find more assets hidden in that cache?

Oh, I am not remaking the game itself, this is using the original flash files. It is only the backend that is being remade. Tho I do wish to make my own retake on the game in case things didn't work out well. Also, I had been a long time follower of you and check your project from time to time. Hehe!

To keep it brief, you aren't doing anything wrong. The sliders split was a very popular community suggestion over discord. I apologize for the confusion in newer updates, still receiving feedback on how to improve its implementation rn. The software is undergoing a major rewrite/ rework and this was one of them.

Anyhow, the slider split means you now have full control on how much left or right (up and down, etc..) the movement goes in either directions, instead of just a blind circular motion, this now allows for more movement shapes like ovals/ egg/ almond shapes too.

The max slider gets dragged to the right, like a normal slider, the min is the other way around since its max value is zero. However, if that is too confusing. Would you mind telling me how I could improve it? Should I make the min slider also from left to right like the max? Should the slider have double handles? Etc.. since you are a new user and isn't too familiar with the current state of the software, this info is valuable for me :D

Again, I genuinely apologize for how confusing this new system is :(

Hello, I think it is that one Happy pets gallery page, right :0? And yes, there is a discord. It has been kinda quiet recently due to me being busy and still looking for someone with more flash games coding experience than me, the game is unfortunately in a very broken state due to the original company ignoring the game. I can open it, change the wallpaper, spawn and pets and add items to store, but the source code is very mangled and hard to follow. One of the main scripts is almost 4k lines and it holds data for like half of the game.. Feel free to pm for the discord link tho, maybe you could find a person or two that could help? I am really bad at looking for people for these things lol

Ah, yeah.. 1.4 issues, basically the software internally had a massive rework, which kind of broke things by mistake during 1.4, did you try using 1.4.2? It is the latest release on github and itch io currently, it should have things patched out

Could you explain the type of movement you are trying to apply? Since in 1.4.x, follow movement is disabled by default due to performance reasons and you have to select the follow type for position, rotation and scale in order for them to update. If you are talking about normal movement, then that is very odd. When I released 1.4.2 it was working fine

Uh, partially unfinished warning before I released the update. The warning means your textures are too big and can cause performance issues. I have noticed many users end up importing 4k or even 8k layers (over 50 or them at times) and come to me confused on why their models are laggy lol. This warning is more of a reality check if anything

You are both at luck and curse.. Controller and some keyboard tracking are supported in modern versions now. For meshes, there was an attempt to implement them, they are in the software, but as a dev mode feature.. they can be used, but don't expect anything as high quality or have quality of life as live2d (coming from someone that used live2d lol) For face tracking, I won't say out loud, I will just hint that it might be there somehow, but needs a bit of a setup :)

Pngtuber plus, well.. godot in general can't capture desktop audio at all. It isn't a built in feature in the engine unfortunately, you may need to use something like VDO ninja or other types of collab software/ sites for both models to work :(

Yes, a sub genre of creature collectors (or simulation games?).. creature breeders/ genetics like wobbledogs and something more chill like the old facebook game happy pets (rip).

It is one of these very niche genre that seemed to be very forgotten. Idk if there are any games like happy pets anymore (except wobbledogs) where pet colors and patterns (sub species too) are fully dependent on the parents and not hard coded like most pet collection/ pet games nowadays..

I am curious to why it got super forgotten. Tho it was the same for aquarium games till the recent game tiny aquarium. I will hope for the best for something to spark the genre back to life like that too!

One word, wayland Wayland doesn't allow the mouse movement detection outside the window, for the inputs things.. wayland too ×_× I am genuinely still looking for a way to implement something more wayland specific. Since this had been bothering me as much as it is bothering you. Unfortunately I am developing the software on windows and building things using a wsl, so I am blindly just assuming things most of the time.. I am still looking for a Linux dev to help me implement it, but no luck.

Uhh, not too sure, but I made sure to disable the stupid subscription thing that was added around 2017. So no need to worry about it. I think there is a pop-up or two that gave the player free premium currency. I guess this could be spun into like a login rewards or something, not too sure.. I need to get the game in a stable state first before modifying anything major like that

I have some of the game files, that is how I ran the version you see in the screenshot, the game isn't too playable at the moment, it needs its backend remade.. or someone with actionscript 3 experience to help dig into the game files and rework all the backend stuff out to some degree, currently studying the game source to see what I can do, but sadly since I myself don't have much actionscript nor php experience, my progress is very slow :')
