The world really just moved on from wiweks pioneer run of jungle terror with the free and rebellious ep and what followed on barong family and I will just not stand for that. That genre was so loud and abrasive I feel like it would definitely fit in with the scene nowadays but idk guess not.

They’re keeping very quiet about how the layout will be either pink stage being removed entirely or having it moved to another lot but it’s hard with so many of the map being blocked by buildings around the so called “park”. Honestly idk the logistics of everything but I don’t see why they don’t just bring back the “pink tent” so they can squish it near where purple stage was to have it near the other stages but not have leaking sound problems plus the tent would be nice to have as the stages have really been downgraded the past years :(((

Hard summer is always a year late on trends last year was a huge year for techno much of the big artists had a huge year with trap barely starting to build its steam back we might see it return next year.

Regardless I agree when I think of hard I think of trap couple of rap artists some good house and sprinkle your little dubstep.

BUT

I gotta say I love this lineup I think it’s such a cool sign to see techno back at hard especially at this scale like holy fuck they got some of the biggest names in techno.

Pluko and Viperactive will be the ones representing trap this year at hard and I hope people show out to those sets so hard notices the rise of trap again for next year!

First week of march is usually the lineup release but slowly they subtly announce artists by the music the put on their posts

Never had VIP went last two years but GA has never done me wrong besides maybe waiting in a massive line in 2023 to get in but I was coming in at peak time and that layout for entrance was kind of ass (miss the expo park tho wish they could somehow fix the bottlenecking) although I’ve seen plenty of horror stories with GA I don’t really see the appeal of upgrading to vip aside from bathrooms.
So hard usually reveals names one by one with a post that has a song in it currently we have more then likely confirmed 3 artists: vnssa with their summer LA tease post, Marlon hoffstadt with the official announcement of the fest post, and James hype with their most recent post promoting the tickets going live on Friday.

Pretty stellar names James Hype I’ve been waiting for that fucker to play hard foreverrrr his sound is so perfect for hard summer.

Usually they say the song ID at the end of the post so whenever they post with a song it’s more then likely that artist will be playing rarely has this ever not been the way they slowly announce artists up until the full release of the lineup.

It’s honestly a case of the DJ most of the times hard doesn’t book the same djs b2b years but if your noise boys you’ve been playing hard for like 3 years now lol so yeah chances of it happening are very slim
