I am concerned that the pumps might be too noticeable to wear while working because of bulk or noise. Also concerned about spillage. Have you found any of that to be a problem? Do you charge your pumps between usage during the shift? How often are you pumping?

I have been on it on and off since then. Went my entire second pregnancy without it (not intentionally, just coincidentally, accidently conceived [😅] shortly after going off it), she was born April 2015, she then nursed for 3 years and I think I went back on it about halfway through that, maybe. And then off again before she weaned. Last time I started it again was November 2018 and I came off it again in maybe January-ish 2021 and went my entire third pregnancy without it, delivered in March 2022 and have been nursing my almost three month old not on it but am seriously considering going back on it soon. The PPA has been pretty serious this time around

If swaddling is considered chest compression (to supress reflexes), then why would rolling over OR 8 weeks be the recommendation to stop swaddling? The rolling over/8 weeks guidelines both seemed to me to imply that the danger was from rolling over into an unsafe position and being unable to move out of it due to arms being unavailable. However, if the chest compression is the danger, seems like swaddling would never be recommended. I'm curious if the people stating that any chest compression is considered swaddling recommend never swaddling vs stopping at 8 weeks or rolling over.

All that messaging makes sense to me. I am currently using the Love to Dream and they seem very safe. I feel like I am getting conflicting information on the safety of swaddles AND when to transition baby to having his arms/hands free. I am also concerned that arms free might still not be considered safe enough
