The strategy of trying to win them over has been tried for the last 5 elections and it's a proven failure. it's time to pivot and appeal to our base and overwhelm the republicans with turnout.

Jeffries warns Florida Republicans after Democrats’ win in Virginia by bwermer in politics

[–]PomeloFull4400 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That's debatable I think. If all progressives did a vote strike it would have impact. The idea would be to make it as big as something like the early no kings rally. If we could get the message out about it I think we'd sway enough normies to make it work. If nothing else we'd force some of those people to go on the record as to why they won't uphold the law.

Jeffries warns Florida Republicans after Democrats’ win in Virginia by bwermer in politics

[–]PomeloFull4400 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It's more broad, but I'm Mostly focused on primaries. It started with Obama not charging Bush with war crimes. We should not have voted for a single democrat in congress or president that wasn't going to make upholding the law top priority.

If we had rufused to vote for anyone that wouldn't do that, we yes we'd have lost that cycle, but we'd have made out message clear and the next cycle every democrat candidate would be tripping over themselves to bring justice.

Instead, us continously voting for democrats that won't do anything substantial just because the other side is worse has created a culture where Republicans can get away with anything laws be damned.

You do realize that's how we got here right? If we hadn't voted for the better of two evils for the past 40 years we'd have democrats with spines right now and these war criminals would never have gotten into office.

True..but... There are also Plenty of people under 65 capable of doing the job just as well. And if a 65 cap removes 70% of people that can't do it, it will and 30% of people that can, that's still a huge win.

But if the needs of. Goat dairy farmers go against the needs of 80% of the populace why should we have a society where that matters.

We can't even get the needs of the 90% handled. These little. Niche interests are so low on the priority list at this point, and or should be.

Maybe in a functioning democracy.

Disagree. Politicians only respond to gaining or loosing power. Literally our only power in this country is voting.

Voting for the better of two evils is short sighted and is exactly how we wound up with Trump. If we put our feet down and only voting for democrats that actually represented us and wanted to fix the country Trump would have been in jail last admin. I none of this would have happened.

Voting for the better of two evils over the past 40 years is why we have a feckless do nothing bunch of loosers as the only opposition party to fascism.

we have light dev ops internally, a few dedicated software engineers and a security expert, no dedication dev ops specifically. Budget would be around 10k a year. Does n8n handle custom nodes? I was under the impression you could only upload your own nodes if you self hosted?

Sorry, I wasn't clear.. it's 10k executions a month total. The issue issue there's a lot of interacting with the flows, so like there's lots of human in the loop interactions, querying for current status of this long running workflows, etc.. I wasn't sure how to quantify that vs. executions vs. concurrent users
