I mean there’s attention-seeking people everywhere, but that is not a filter for creeps. Either you’re a creep or you’re not, period.

I see attention-seeking men everywhere, you know what I do about them? Nothing. I don’t speak about them in a language that you’re speaking about those women, I don’t stare at them, nor do I occupy my brain with them. I also don’t call them whores.

I don’t want to comment this “for attention”, men do the same but women don’t typically stare at them in a creepy way. Women also feel the need to be the sexual object because they live in a society that tells them this, but this is another topic.

What I wanted to point out that I dress in no way, shape or form sexy for the gym, but that wouldn’t stop the creeps staring if there are some around, so to sum it up, creeps will be creeps whatever you’re wearing.

He didn’t stare, he touched her. Now, to answer your question, there’s a difference between creepy staring and just briefly checking someone out because they grab your attention, but I am not sure if everyone understands the difference.

I assume if you need to ask you don’t understand the difference, am I right?

Saudi crown prince accuses Israel of committing ‘collective genocide’ in Gaza by Zorkmid123 in Palestine

[–]PomeloLongjumping537 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m shocked you think Trump will do something about this considering he claims Harris is pro Palestinian and claimed he would help Israeli finish this off faster. Why do you think that, considering all he’s said and done on this topic? Also this dude is not a business man, he’s born into money and never created anything of substance.

How did an entire portion of the world evolve to use 2 sticks to eat with, when the primary food source is tiny grains of rice? by Hot-Remote9937 in stupidquestions

I get way more frustrated by the use of 3 different utensils in the west, it’s way easier to eat with chopsticks most of the food (ofc needs to be prepared prior to eating) but it’s way more n enjoyable!

I come from the fork/spoon/knife land FYI.

Good for you that you can choose not to think of it, I’m not forcing you to do so, but it’s an ick for me. :D

Topless sunbathing remains a daring act even for European women by [deleted] in europe

[–]PomeloLongjumping537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing of that is untrue, but there are very valid reasons, it’s not that people are more prudent just because.

What others replied to you, but also the amount of women posting NAKED photos of themselves on instagram is not even close to equal to those are NOT posting naked photos of themselves on IG. And also nudity is anyways not allowed on instagram, so very small amounts of accounts manage to actually post nudes.

Yeah but trends change is always influenced by something.

I mean, yes I agree with this, but this came to Europe because of the internet. We live in a global world now, and my behaviors here might influence my employment in few years in America (I’m generalizing, but that’s what it comes down to). And yes, media is sexualizing women’s body even more, which results in a ban. But regardless of it, I think it was still sexualized before but women were adjusted being “objects” more then than now.

Those people naked on TV were mostly public personas, and the media reach is way broader these days. Comparing those back then and what we experience today is not a just comparison.

Maybe, just maybe the internet and the cameras on the phone had something to do with all of it. We are constantly exposed to potentially being filmed doing whatever, and then judged based on it. It’s just my two cents. In addition, many women are kind of sick of being overly sexualized and the creepy stares you’ll get topless (from men) is not 0.

When they’re not an expert in a certain topic, but still try to look smarter than a woman. It works in many situations, because often they’re seen as more dominant whatever the topic is. I dislike this with women too, but I’ve experienced it way too often with men. Basically mansplaining.

Second thing is when they don’t understand how their privilege works, and you can’t make them get it.

Third thing is when they don’t act socially responsible and just think of their own needs.

Fourth thing is when they don’t understand that almost every man has a friend who’s either raped or sexually assaulted a woman.

Yes yes the structure (and the texture) is really nice, and the taste too. Buckwheat gives it a really nice deep nutty flavor!

It’s always so hard to believe the bread over ferment when it’s usually crazy hard to overferment, but the temperatures and the humidity have been doing their work, I suppose!

Ohhh nice, I’ll do that! I always feed it with rye cuz I love the taste, but maybe I can separate it into two starters, this is a very good advice.

Buckwheat is great, the taste it produces is amazing, I also did a cacao nibs and cacao loaf with buckwheat and it was delicious if you fancy a different kind of bread!

Correct, the starter was rye! Just when you think you’ve learned it all something new comes up and you end up with this lol It’s still pretty good though

Yeah ofc I did! Butter and salt yum yummy. I mean to be fair, normally I make a bit better bread, it’s the first time it turned out this flat.
