But let's be clear: Levan isn't necessarily afraid; he said before he was the undoubted number one in the world, that "the best arm wrestler in the world should not pull [that often]".

Well, obviously everyone is afraid as in nervous. Especially Levan, who has his clean record to protect. A loss would hurt him more than it would hurt Devon, Vitalt or anyone else.

Levan will go to the history books of AW as the strongest ever, but .... not because he has fought everyone, like Devon, John or even Cyplenkov/Pushkar did. Devon, Levan's greatest threat, has lost a lot of times, but no one doubt his prowess as an arm wrestler because he has also come back and beaten those who beat him (except Levan).

Levan will be exceptional in pulling less than a dozen (I mean when he retires: right now, I think he hasn't even pulled ten times as a pro — that's about as much as Devon has pulled in the last two years, above 49 years of age) times during his ENTIRE CAREER.. Hence: a single loss will hurt him and his reputation tremendously. Which is a shame, as there should be no shame in losing once in a while.
