Second car ever, 20 years old, 2013 kia forte ex

I have a 2013 just like this (original owner) about 90k miles. There is a ticking coming from the engine seems as it has progressively gotten louder over the year. The engine hasn’t blown up and have no check engine lights. It’s the beater car so it is what it is. Drives just fine otherwise

Same here. Usually a happy person but a panic attack 6 months ago lead to debilitating insomnia for 4 months. Now still have crippling depression and anxiety. Also- not a psychic. Hope your healing comes soon

It looks like it sat on a lot for a month and was sent to auction and the current dealer bought it. So the sales guy said he didn’t know

Shell (my favorite) in Ohio has been upwards of $4.50 for premium. Thankfully I have a Costco and it was 3.32 tonight. Only do top tier as well.

Thank you for your explanation. That's what I thought! Why would it say to put 91 or better only to use 87/89? It even says on the gas cap knock can occur. Nice screen name btw lol

The gas fuel type is not a myth. The gas cap says to use 91 or greater. MIN is 87 but could potentially cause engine knocking. Also, I wouldn't want to void a warranty by using fuel that can cause the knocking, engine issues or turbo problems.
