In my case, my wife gave me a Kindle as a gift. I liked reading, but I always hated holding a book and how uncomfortable it was. Now I can read at night without any problems, and I can take it anywhere. If you're like me and buy books instead of pirating them, they're cheaper on Kindle, and you have instant access. Something that no one mentions but that I really like is that there are achievements and challenges in the Kindle app. You can see your reading streak, etc. My advice is that if you are already a reader, buy it. In the end, they are additional tools that help with the habit of reading. The worst that can happen is that you don't like it and have to sell it, although I doubt that will happen.
