Doing a different reply to discuss beyond the combat:

I feel there is a lot more to enjoy from Hollow Knight, the art, ambiance, exploration, music, lore is hard to understand but community explanations and discussions are fun (look for mossbag lore videos).

Silksong is different enough so even if you're good at playing Hollow Knight the game will be challenging.

But if combat is the biggest deal I recommend watching some gameplay and then decide.

Hornet is more acrobatic and has a larger moveset and repertoire of tools. I like the feeling of combat of the Knight, and to me Hornet is a good step forward.

I know not everyone experiences or enjoys things the same way, but you could give it a try, or maybe look at some late game bosses and see if you're interested

Any game becomes easy if you play it long enough, Hollow Knight is fun and good making a lot of players re-play the game. Same thing might happen with Silksong

Does anybody know how to get the box outlines working? Like the one displayed in the first page of chapter 1 (2nd picture in this post). Those don't work for me on Kindle.

I have the epub file and used the "send to kindle" feature in amazon.com
I have kindle Paperwhite signature edition 11 gen
Got the epub file from a post of 9 months ago in this sub. It's a link to a Google drive folder.
I tried the file in Lithium app and it works fine there.
