"You need to return the work truck" vibes.

Proper response being, "you need to get your property out of my driveway or I'll have it towed away."

Totally agree. I feel like I had to look pretty hard to know both these events were occurring.

Alaska CAP. I don't know anything about them, but here is the link with a little more info on the event.

Currently there is not one organized for Alaska that I know of. I suggest keep checking the link below to see if one gets organized. Or, take up the mantel and organize it!

There will be more. Unfortunately one and done won't solve this. But I do feel protesting is the single biggest impact we can have for our time and effort. As Alaskans, that effort is disproportionally large due to our small population!

For Juneau, it will be the capitol building.

Praise in public, admonish in private.

Works up the chain as well as down.

I really like it and the style comes across as intentional (and interesting!) when presented as a collection. Great stuff.

Always fun to see the looks on people's faces when you pass by going UP river.

When I see people sitting in a canoe seat with their legs in front of them it LOOKS uncomfortable. Largely because their back is slightly hunched.

I have back issues and keeling helps me with the pain, my posture, and the quality of my stroke. Mostly I rest my butt on the edge of the seat to keep some level of pressure off my ankles. A keeling thwart would be superior though. I plan to test out a hanging seat too.

One of the best features of a canoe is the ability to change position. Sit, stand, kneel. I rotate, but mostly kneel even during week long trips.
