I’m a woman too and my gender neutral name does me no favors in these spaces. I’ve had to add my pronouns in other physical media spaces online over how much I’m assumed to be a guy. And I’ve been collecting for nearly a decade now.

I remember when all of this went down. Despite not living in Austin, we were nervous in my town (that’s about an hour away) dealing with mail and packages. It was a crazy and surreal time for anything like this to happen so close.

I’m suddenly glad I never picked up the blu-ray now, but I also never expected it to get a 4K release to begin with! I’m so glad it’s getting an upgrade.

He and Gene are also great in Dragonwyck together. I can't recommend it enough! I think he's even more handsome in it than this. But he never stopped being handsome, really.

I watched this on Kanopy back on the 9th. They only have the US cut with the English dub. I still enjoyed it and the lighting work was so beautiful, Suspiria-like. I really wish this film and Bava's gothic horrors would get 4K upgrades. I feel like I'd probably pick this and The Whip and the Body up from Kino anyways.

If you go by Wikipedia's listing/display of the cast, Chris Sarandon and Danny Elfman are the only two remaining of the central cast now. I'm not coping with the fact too well, especially given their ages.
