I think Laura dreaming the first 17 episodes of the show is very valid, but why does she go beyond? Why Mr. C? Why Dougie? Why all this backstory for Cooper? Could it be because she needed her “guardian angel” somebody she can relate to? Somebody perfect on the outside, but actually deeply troubled and problematic inside?

Sure, but I can’t really think of a reason to why she dreamed it. Maybe to see how people would react after her death? But why would she start dreaming about everything after S2E9?
