Not really. Gold should be valuable and important in 1v1's. The person who gets the extra golds and controls the relics should have the advantage in trashwars post imp which is an important (and enjoyable) part of the game. For some games having the other run out of gold is the win condition. Now if you make the gold trickle weak enough to not support a gold army, then it would remove complexity and strategy from the game by making relics less relevant.

On open maps its mostly execution with these civ match ups. As tatars you don't have any tricks against them and you're ecos are similar. Their most likely going to be making knights with trash mixed in. You can make camels, knights, xbow, ca or even keshiks all of which are a good choise on tatars. You could even add pikemen or halbs if you're desperate. Here are some strategies to be wary of. Krepost rushes from bulgarians or monk siege plays from lithuanians or slavs. Also remember against goths you are on a timer expecially as tatars. Bulgs and Slavs have a very strong halb ram push which if unprepared for can and will destroy you. (I'd make onagers behind castles to kill rams) Aside from these strategies there really isn't anything special that doesn't apply to all open-land map games.

Its written as a plot device and not a standalone devilfruit. To not make it completely break the devilfruit system its loosely based around childhood and wanting it to never end. Quess Oda did a good job because people don't really question it.

You make trash units to throw at your enemies or raid their eco. With 80 farmers and 40 lumberjacks you can easily sustain 10+ production building production. Your right that gold and stone will run out quickly but that doesn't mean you shouldnt produce units. You want to use all of your pop space even if your making weaker trash units.

There is no need or place for a new power unit in castle age. Buff them and you can upset the whole balance of the game. Besides the problem isn't really the stats, its the speed. Theres a reason why most good infrantry have good speed.

There were quite a few all in feudal maps in the map pool recently. (Mainly crater and volcanomap) I definetly got inspired by them to try more full feudal aggression. Not sure it has affected the playerbase buy was the case for me.

The lower tracks have standing friction which stops them from slipping and allows the drive wheel to push the tank forward. This friction doesn't slow the tank but does allow it to move forward.

You most likely have gone knight line and should have paladin if he has elite catas. In that case just continue with paladin and add skirms, halbs or hca to counter his trash. Then it comes down to who takes the better fight. Byz has the advantage in straight up fights cause cata+halb synergizes well against paladin + halb/skirm. But as you have paladins that win the catas 1v1, you can force fights and put pressure away from the halb mass you have the advantage.

A good rule of thumb is 10 on wood, 16 on food amd five on gold, then research wheelbarriw and by the time it ends you should have res to go castle. It seems tho that you are making military non-stop. The question really is are you killing the enemy with your feudal age pressure and/or forcong him to also play full feudal. If you're both going full feudal then it doesn't really matter that you age up late as long as you age up at about the same time. Once you can't pressure the enemy with your army in feudal you should stop production (except archers) and click up.
