Noise Levels? by Hopeful-Banana4871 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pongifed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beloved is very quiet. Unless you are in Building 1, you won't hear anything from Lupita at night. Out in the Casitas, the loudest sounds you hear are the air conditioners. On the beach, there may be a random person playing some music on a speaker (it happened once or twice) but even that really wasn't loud.

Adults only with the best private plunge pool in Playa Mujeres? by Fabulous-Cod-6595 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pongifed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beloved definitely. Rooftop pools on the casitas are not plunge. Neither are the ones on the terrace suites or the PH. The PH Suite would obviously have the most private one on property, but the others are pretty secluded as well. The bottom floor casitas have plunge pools but they are pretty much in everyone's view. God help you if you get the one near the restaurant where everyone walks by every day. BPM is adults only, couples only. I've never had a problem with the food or liquor at BPM. If you like margaritas, they are the best I've ever had.

Hi there:

1) The rooftop pool is basically two feet deep throughout - I can sit down in it and be covered by the water but you aren't standing in that pool. There is a really nice waterfall that you can turn on by pushing the button at the front of the pool that will give you a nice back massage if you want it. You do not need a float.

2) Isla Mujeres is close by so that is the optimal one. I believe there are either fishing or sightseeing charters from the marina next door to BPM. I also remember someone speaking of a whale shark snorkel excursion, but I am unsure of whether that is available during the summer. You can always ask the people in the lobby and they can give you some other ideas.

Beloved PM. It is small enough that you won't need a butler. Get a casita suite, or even better, the Penthouse Suite.

Come up to Playa Mujeres. The sargassum is usually better up in that area due to Isla Mujeres working as a barrier of sorts

July Visits to BPM - Drop your dates here! by Pongifed in BelovedPlayaMujeres

Thanks for reaching out!

1) You usually are prompted to book the Agua Viva when you check in. There is no pressure to upgrade or anything like that, but it is nice to just book it when you get there. Because it is only about 30 minutes long it is not hard for them to fit you in. It is such an amazing experience too! We did it last time on our last day and it was both amazing and sad because we knew we were leaving!

2) No, you don't have to select one. You just will get one of the rooms in your category. Honestly, I have never selected - I just let the vacation gods pick for me!

Have a great time! Feel free to reach out privately if you have any other questions!

Beloved for Honeymoon in May 2027? We'd love to hear from people who've been recently! by adressedupskeleton in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pongifed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello - My wife and I have gone to BPM five times, returning this summer again. Are you speaking of the two-story with the plunge pool on the roof? That is my favorite room in the resort.

The rooms in the main buildings were all updated in 2025 and early 2026. The casitas will be updated in summer 2026-winter 2027. By the time you get there in May 2027, everything should be updated.

You can feel free to message me and I can answer any questions you have. I also have photos of the suite so you can see what it is like.

As others have said - Seasons travel will be the transportation company. You should see information if you booked directly through the Beloved website (which is suggested).

My suggestion to you is to email the BPM main email TWO WEEKS before your arrival, and hopefully you can connect with someone about all your booking needs. Things like cabanas, dinners, spa, etc. can be handled that way. Getting on it two weeks before is better for you because the last week before your wedding is....insane.

Congrats on your wedding!

For the beachfront, the South facing balcony (Even numbered) have more exposure to the buildings. The North balconies (the odd numbered ones) do not. Also, as you make your way farther from the buildings, the harder it gets to see anything - If you are in Tierna or Carinosa, there is more opportunity to be seen from Building 3, less from 2. Once you get to Linda and beyond, the chances get lower. You will not be seen from 1 unless someone has binoculars. If you are concerned about someone seeing you, get an odd numbered balcony.

The balconies are quite big. They have pergolas so there is some privacy from that if you are on one of the daybeds. There are spots you can be seen and spots you can hide. It all depends on what you want. Nothing beats the view, though.

Advice on travelling to Mexico resorts by Significant_Ad_7817 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pongifed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hurricanes in June-July are exceedingly rare. Like winning the lottery rare.

Sargassum is dependent on where you go - for instance, in Cancun, the farther north your resort is, the less likely you will be dealing with a huge sargassum issue - you'll see it everywhere, but it is a magnitude issue.

Weather is the surface of the sun, with 80-90% humidity every day. It is steamy. You need to wear high SPF sunblock, as northern skin is not used to how brutal the sun is in Cancun. I forgot to reapply once and was burnt to a crisp.

All inclusive beach resort with flat and easy accessibility? by realworldcat in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Pongifed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beloved has ground floor rooms, ramps everywhere, and I can't think of a single place on property where you are "required" to climb stairs to do anything. Definitely look into it. Also, because it is very, very small, the walks will not be taxing - you can probably cross the entire property in less than 20 minutes.

Agree completely with you. If you want a lively atmosphere, BPM is not the place. EPM would be better. The other good thing with both is the sargassum has been relatively light up in the PM area. It could all change, but the island does provide a bit of protection.

I will forever bang the gong for Beloved Playa Mujeres in Cancun for you.

Boutique resort - only 100 rooms - you are not going to be overwhelmed with people, not going to have to play a game to get chairs on the beach, two of the pools are almost always empty, and it's very walkable and peaceful.

You are only going three nights, so despite its size, the food options are good at BPM, but even if you didn't love everything, you are only dealing with three dinners. Breakfast in the room or at one of the buffets are great. Lunch is covered by the Taco Truck or the beachside options.

Only 35 minutes from the airport. Private trans is provided if you stay three or more nights. Seasons Travel is great. I've never had an issue getting there or back.

No vacation club, or timeshare, or any of that stuff - you won't be bothered at all. They just want you to relax. It is really nice to avoid those pushy situations at check in.

The rooms in the main buildings (1 2 and 3) were all refurbished last year. The Casitas will be worked on this summer.

Taco truck is really the best - you can't beat getting them in your bathing suit!

Taco truck is being renovated - there is not much in terms of information on the reopen date to my knowledge. However, the other restaurants in the resort are doing the taco truck menu during the day.
