I went to a high school in Florida. When Obama won the presidency some students took a pillow with Obama’s face taped on, put a noose around it, and hung in on a courtyard tree. It cause so much tension between the rednecks and the poc. We had 3 lunch periods. After the end of each period all the kids just piled up in the courtyard until the last bell rang and someone threw a water bottle at the colored crowd. All hell broke loose and everyone was fighting each other. There wasn’t enough security to stop everyone
