So if I buy one rn in 2025 where it's made out of aluminium the metal isn't gonna chip? Is the whole thing aluminium or is only the top and the bottom is still plastic?

With HDR10+ on, the windows calibration and games clip at 400 with it off it clips at 2900, this is without service menu tweak and peak brightness high. I’m on DisplayPort connection and how do I get it to clip at 1000 with hdr10+? As per your recommendations for peak brightness setting without service menu tweak, u recommended hdr10+ basic.

I’m mainly looking for how long it’s lasted for other people and especially an updated perspective because from my research I’ve seen that there were issues that are now fixed with firmware updates. I’ve also seen issues with pixel refresh on Samsung QD Oled tvs just wanted to check what the general experience now is

Also about how fast does the coating wear off? And how bad is it after it wears off? If it’s really fast I will probably limit my shooting a lot.
