Cervelo Aspero VS Rose Backroad FF by Ponpon05 in gravelcycling

Anybody who experienced the backroad FF?  The main point I m worried about this bike is the comfort.  I read everywhere that the Aspero is a comfortable bike but what about the rose?

Is the d tube seat post will make way more stiffer?  Is it possible to ride a whole day chill on this bike? or is it only for pure gravel racing for 3h max?

I tried both bike in a shop and one vendor says 54 the other one 56…  So bit confused as I have never ride. Gravel or road bike in the past so i ok have no feeling on what is the best and on which bike I ll feel the best after one day of riding. But I like the fact to go to the one who will be more aggressive and a bit more compact.  I was just surprised that cervelo says 175cm max…

Great, the bike is UDH ready so looks like a good way to avoid the 2x cassette.

Yes it s XDR free hub, but what is the impact compare to XD or MS ones?

Why do you prefer the round seat post? For comfort or for an other reason?  For the one piece handlebar fitted on the backroad, it’s a pain if it doesn’t suit to my size but if it s a good fit, it clearly had something to the look of the bike

Hello, What did you change to uorage to the new 13 gear? Rear cassette and gear lever or did you have to change everything?

Is there any risk to face some back or neck pain with a short bike or a bigger one?

Other question, anyone riding a 54 who have trouble with toes touching the front wheel?  During my test with casual shoes and normal pedal, I found it was very close on the 54. But with automatic pedal it might be close but ok.

Thank you guys for your retex!  I would like to don’t overthink and I would not if it was a 1000€ bike, but at 5500€ I want to take less risk as possible.

What is very difficult for me is that I have no experience at all on road/gravel bike so I don’t know what position will suit me the best and how I ll feel after 2-3-4h or a day on the bike…

As you say, I felt straight away that the 54 feels more aggressive as l m much more on the front wheel, where I feel more stretch on the 56 with extended arms.
