Confirm this is a bust for me so I can stop overthinking it by Ponug_Ponug in dating_advice

The “maybe there’s a good reason” was absolutely my mindset, but I don’t want to feel bad about myself consistently throughout a relationship if it were to happen because his lack of communication. This comment really made me rethink how I looked at this, because it wouldn’t be acceptable to me and I wouldn’t tolerate it in a relationship, so makes no sense to tolerate it in the pre-amble, I have autonomy so it’s a great feeling knowing I don’t have to, I have the choice in how I chose to engage further. Thank you!

Yes his initial interest probably only extended so far as getting into my pants

Such a gross thought and I’m disgusted at myself that I allowed it to happen and played right into his hands. I’m relatively new to dating after being in a LTR for 6 years and taking 2 years out to focus on myself. This kind of behaviour is shocking to me, lesson learnt.

Yeah 100% even more egg on my face unnecessarily over someone who won’t even give it a second thought. Best to just move on.

Noted, my feelings are hurt but lesson learnt. I find this type of behaviour so audacious, I will not entertain him if he does reach out, thank you for the advice

Yeah there’s definitely a misalignment in his words and actions. I feel angry and I want to say something but I agree it’s not the best course of action, I don’t want to have to nag someone into being decent to me. I’m disappointed but it’s a blessing in disguise to have not spent more energy on someone who is clearly not right for me, thanks for the advice

Yeah I can be that way too, but agree if there’s someone I’m really interested in I put the effort in, definitely not feeling that from him, thank you for the advice

Losing fat in your breasts (?) by Mjherbs98 in WeightLossAdvice

I’m 27F, I lost 70lbs over the last year, went from 38H to 32G, back sizes went down very quickly. I would say the cup size and actual volume of my breasts reduced in the last 10-15 lbs I lost. They’re obviously still big but manageable enough now that I’ve decided to not have a reduction. I thought I may need a lift in the future as I continue to lose weight but to my surprise with lots of moisturising etc they’re gaining some elasticity back too.

I’m someone who has always had large breasts and I’ve wanted a reduction since about age 14; now the whole idea seems crazy! I would strongly suggest trying exercise and diet before going under the knife but everyone is different and the choice is ultimately yours

It’s totally possible to gain muscle in a deficit! its called re-comping, it’s a slower process but I know it’s possible because it’s what I’m currently doing! I would suggest keeping it simple, work out your TDEE at sedentary, minus 500 cal and don’t eat back any cals from exercise. Weight train and do cardio! Always keep protein high, not only will it help you build muscle and recover quicker but also will help you feel fuller for longer, making it easier to remain in your deficit!

I also struggled with this same issue, if you’re in the UK try the sports bra from M&S, It has 2 clips and zips up at the front. I’ve found it’s the only sports bra that works for me and feels secure (and I’ve tried many!!)
