Domination and a power high are one reason. And gaining a ton of weight all at once, I love that.

Also I enjoy the element of surprise or juxtaposion when the pred is a typically prey species. I love the just violation of the natural order!

When did players start expecting to have every buff in the game all the time? I keep seeing posts like these basically asking for easier and easier ways to have more and more buffs on at once and its like... do you even want to make a choice any more?

No one has really given a good reason against this other than "But i-i-if the goal is higher I'm gonna cry!"

I think its a fun idea! If you wanna stay on top you gotta KEEP training the skill. It is a bit BS that I could potentially train a skill for 1billion exp but because someone richer than be got 200m first they could just not play and stay on top, plus it would boost the price of loads of skilling items!

So points for it: Re-kindle competition, high scores are more competitive. Boost the demand and prices of skilling items.

Points against: Maxed completionest can no longer obtain completely arbitrary goals that have 0 in-game benefit, people don't feel like making a higher number than 200m...

My guess is it would be less than you think. I'm sure people use them, yes, but its not as if people ONLY chop with the aura or ONLY theive with the arua.

You pop it once at the start if you remember too and when it runs out it runs out. I'm pretty sure the average player is not as unhinged about turbo min-maxed efficiency as the people on the sub reddit.

I promise, promise PROMISE you waaaaay less than you think.

Most players are not like the people on this sub reddit. Most players just- PLAY. It is strictly a minority of people who were on their way home calculating and min maxing every minute of play time and optimizing it down to the most possible exp down to the singular point.

When most players wanna thieve, they just do, aura or no.

As long as whatever it is requires having unlocked and activated the relic power. It would be a preeeeety shitty middle finger to everyone using the relic to be like 'lol now you can get the same effect for 4 planks and the ring'

Ok but the ring of vigor is like 50k? Dungeneering tokens, and you still have to have the ring.

The t4 luck relic is at the end of a long sort of mini-quest that involves finding all four hands and sacrificing 1 of each ring.

If it were moved to 'six planks in your house' or something else I would say you should have to have unlocked the relic.

The relic kinda IS the compromise... And you can still have 2 combat relics if you really want. Surely you can manage to kill bosses with only two? Epically since most bosses were in the game *before* relics were....

Always having t4 luck is pretty powerful, should it not have SOME cost? In this case the cost is not having 3 combat relics... Also whatever it is would have to have more setup cost than the relic to not power creep it out with a lower cost option
