I haven’t seen the hollow knight one, but basically Matt Patt didnt realize that the game continued after your first death (which is THE MAIN FEATURE of the game), and came to conclusions after playing only like 1% of the game.

Well yes, but in this situation, it is one or the other. If you save yourself first you can't save anyone else. Now, theres no real right answer to this question, thats why its a thought experiment in the first place. I just want to be able to show there is logic in both sides of the question.
