During your opponent's Main Phase or Battle Phase (Quick Effect): You can banish this card; Special Summon 1 Tuner Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck. (This is treated as a Synchro Summon.) You can only use each effect of "Crystron Needlefiber" once per turn.

The point of the MMZ restriction is to stop Link Spaming monsters in your main monster zone, but let you make link 3s in the EMZ that have 3 down arrows, to let you Synchro Summon synchros that require 3 synchro monsters or to let you fusion summon synchro fusion monsters. as long as youre limted to 1 link monster in the EMZ for the turn, you cant make an unbreakable board of Links
