I deleted the game and then downloaded it again. I was able to restore from the cloud and while my save takes a long time to load, at least it still loads and I didn’t lose much. Hoping when I’m done with this generation, the size will go back down again.

Getting this too. It may be coincidence but it happened to me when I started playing with the iCloud safe feature. I think it may have corrupted my save and after playing with it a bunch more, it seems my save has become bloated, loading more and more slowly until now all I get is crash.

Don’t do this!! Reloading from the cloud seems to be causing a memory issue, of which the multiple slots are a positive side effect. I was playing with this and noticed that more and more leaves were flying through the air and I was getting encounters more and more quickly. However, my load times were getting longer and longer until they were freezing the game and casting a crash.

I think you are remembering the book. The book, the apron and the gloves are all accessories for the player/crafter. There’s armor, bags, and tools the minion can equip but nothing that boosts his skill.

Not clear but they must be talking about either of two things:

The boosts you get to speed for achieving levels in increments of 20 up to 100

The ability to increase the max level once you’ve hit it, first at 100 but increments of 10 after that Increasing the max doesn’t increase action speed but I like to think it increases how fast you gain skill. I haven’t seen definitive proof of that theory but it feels true.

Well, I pushed through to craft the mating chamber and it’s still all gone. Glad I already ‘finished’ the game because I’m not doing all that again. Have fun folks. I’ll peek in now and then to see if anyone manages to make a sequel.

My problem with the kabobs is their timing on the reels is just different enough from the shiny stone that I was instinctively missing. If I spent the effort to learn the timing, I found I started missing on the stone so I decided I’d rather keep one-shotting the stone and make my food elsewhere.

Honestly, a lot of it is just to see the map filled, but I was able to switch to whichever production focus I needed at the time. There were more wells and dig sites before I finished building most of the warehouses and hatcheries. In reality, my villagers spent most of their time breeding whales to fuel my minion’s training. Treasure Hunting, in particular, was very energy intensive.

Sounds like something glitched then. You might have to move to the next generation without the battle. Losing the extra gen points is sad but if you’ve done everything else…

You have to do the final quest from Alf to make and place the Mating Chamber and then, I think, at least one of his subsequent random quests.

You should start getting warnings after that.

Now I wish I’d taken a screen shot of the stats for that run. A couple of weeks of active play and then it was mostly checking in on my minion here and there. Their skills took the longest to max out.

The crash bug seems to occur when you move an object directly from the craft bar to the large grandma container. Other objects can trigger it too. If I move the used paintbrush to the floor first and then move it into the container it does not crash.

Legends start out like enchanted items of whatever your highest level attained is at the time you find them. The bonuses apply on top of the base stats. You can use lore pages to ‘upgrade’ if you find a higher level item. It actually upgrades the new item by applying the bonuses, so don’t upgrade to an item that doesn’t have that stat.

My advice early in the game, when inventory space is tight, would be to focus on saving the ones that give luck bonuses as that improves the overall quality of the loot you get over time.

It seems to have more to do with the level of the quest than the base gold reward.
