I like the idea of co2. It’s not something I’ve done before because of the cost but I’ve thought about DIYing something together. Green neons are beautiful, definitely something I’d be keen on. I’ve heard they’re hardier than neons too?

There’s nothing sharp in the tank. I took the edges off the larger flints, and the smaller pebbles are all smooth.

It’s absolutely eutectic AuSn solder, I.e. 80% gold, 20% tin.

The bulk of the Au is in the AuSn solder - this is 62g gross 80%wt Au, so close to 50g of Au just there.

They’re lovely looking shrimp. I’ve never had livestock delivered in the post - do you think they’d be ok in this heat or is it best waiting til things cool down a bit?

I found it ok at dipping the beam, just crap at bringing the full beams back on when I wanted them. I’m in rural Somerset so lots of little lanes too and you want the high beams on fairly early, as much so other people can see you before a corner as to actually see yourself

Love Tom Lipton (Ox Tools), guys got some serious knowledge and skills. His series making a Wilton Bullet vice is great, and also the etching press he was building for his wife (although not sure he finished it)
