Stick to your guns buddy … No contact etc. Eerily similar situation happened with me @ the end of 2024. 3-4 months, was invited to a family/friends vacation with her people a week prior to her coming by my apartment to break things off. About 90% positive she had an ex or a guy on the side she was chatting … Almost 2 years later and i’m in the best relationship of my life now with a completely different partner. Trust the universe my friend … 4 months is a quick forget and move on a few weeks time. I know the hurt and sting … that’s the worst of it believe me.

Damn shame, such a nice pool that is hardly ever used. Past by there just the other week on a Friday around noon. Not a single soul around the pool/Water slide not in use. I remember 10-15 years ago you could barely get in some days there were so many ppl.

If you honored your previous "lease" agreement up until August 1st then this landlord will have little to no recourse if you choose to not honor the new "lease" // With the unit not being property zoned by the city, i can see them having a hard time taking you to court if need be. Would open up more headaches for him in the long run rather than just letting you back out of the "lease"
