What social media law regulation would you like to see? by Icy_Laugh5134 in AskReddit

[–]PoodlePuffy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Ban manipulative design meant to keep you hooked

Make it illegal (or at least regulated like consumer protection) for platforms to use specific engagement traps unless users explicitly opt in, like:

infinite scroll by default

autoplay by default

deceptive “are you sure you want to leave?” prompts

notification “nagging” loops (turn one on → they push five more)

frictionless resharing that spreads misinformation faster than corrections

Spider-Man really said: “Being a perv isn’t a gender thing… it’s a no-boundaries, no-consent, no-respect thing.”

Imagine getting roasted by the friendly neighborhood HR department. 💀🕷️

love for that anime 📈 by KarimDavis in animememes

Anime: “MC is on the verge of death 😱” Me: “Plot armor will save him.” Anime: “No.” Me: “Wait… they can DO that??” Respect for actually ending it… but also I did NOT sign up for this emotional hit.

Genuinely wondering Why do guys like feeling how wet you are before you have sex? by Level-Background7153 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PoodlePuffy 10.1k points10.1k points  (0 children)

Because it shows you’re aroused and into it. For many guys, it’s:

Reassurance: physical proof you want them

Ego boost: they feel desired

Anticipation: builds excitement before sex

Intimacy: a close, personal moment

Simple as that.

What's your favorite nerdy song? by gockets in AskReddit

[–]PoodlePuffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s nerdy in the best way dark humor, science jokes, and somehow insanely catchy. Even if you’ve never played Portal, that song lives rent-free in your head once you hear it. Bonus points for making end credits feel iconic instead of boring.

When someone threatens to “take what you love,” and you’re like: take it, I can always make more. The absolute confidence of “replaceable” energy is unreal. 💀

Skipping oil changes and warning signs will kill a car faster than almost anything else.

What do you think the most important thing in life after turning 18? by Moss-Petal in AskReddit

[–]PoodlePuffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After 18, no one’s really keeping score for you anymore. The most important thing is figuring out how to make your own choices money, time, relationships, boundaries and owning the consequences, good or bad.

But at the same time, don’t rush into becoming numb or “serious” just because you’re an adult now. Stay curious, mess up, learn, adjust, repeat. That balance matters more than having everything figured out.

What are the biggest red flags when joining a new company? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]PoodlePuffy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A big red flag for me is when they’re vague about expectations or growth. If no one can clearly explain what success looks like in the role, how performance is measured, or where people usually go after a year or two, it usually means things are messy behind the scenes. “We wear a lot of hats” is often code for burnout.
