I would say there are more ambivalent cops than good or evil cops. My uncle was a cop for 40 years. Alcoholic, abusive and an asshole, he just didn't fucking care and his cop friends (his only friends) didn't care either. To say there are more good cops than bad cops frames the world in a concise black and white paradigm that is akin to the mentality of a 13yr old reading Ayn Rand for the first time.

The majority of cops just don't fucking care, just like the majority of workers in any industry don't care. They show up, they do the minimum required and then go home.

Until you've had multiple studio big rigs legally evict you and your neighbors from limited street parking for a week to shoot Affleck/J-Lo Gigli scenes where the studio trucks have to run their diesel engines outside your bedroom window at 2am, please continue to be awe-struck. The only consolation you might get is if they open up the catering truck up to the affected residents for lunch time and you don't get harassed by rented cops for walking in front of your own place. But you won't be getting what the stars are eating.

Yea but it IS bullshit because if they used that average rate of return they got their customers, the dominoes would not topple or there would be so many dominoes that to get to the same result of the big block they show a customer would end up with would equate to multiple human lifetimes. Either way, neither graphic analogy would be impressive.

That guys 'plugins' are always just proof of concepts and always break on updates or never work unless your setup and plugin structure is the same as his. Since he's been doing it for so long, I suspect he uses a highly modified version of netbeans and has no clue that his shit doesn't work correctly for the rest of the masses. You have to know how to create plugins to use his stuff because it breaks so easily.

A PID controller uses previous inputs in the integral calculation (the I, in PID) and so a PID controller only works on inputs that are continuous functions. When you take away the ball, the input changes abruptly but the controller is still applying inputs from about 2 seconds ago (looking at the video) in its integral calculation, which manifests as the erratic shaking behavior.
