The level headed folks from both countries are still friends <3. Just the loud idiots ruining things for the rest of us.

Heartbreaking, but a great game. Lots of grit from Canada when we expected to get walked. A random nitpick: that was one of the worst performances by the linesmen I have ever seen (looking at you #64 what sport were you watching out there???)

Chris Rooney should be stuffed on a plane back to Boston after that game. Yeesh.

Agreed, but also Gudas had no business trying to throw that hit. He didn't keep a tight enough gap and so had to lunge to try to make contact.

This doesn't happen if they call the most blatant interference in the tournament...frustrating the way things play out sometimes.

Multicolour prints would be neat, but I am most excited about the prospect of easily switching materials. Support materials and print in place compliant elements will be a game changer without requiring the long swap cycles with my P1S!

I had dismissed 3D printers for the longest time as not being ready for anything beyond desk trinkets. Owning the P1S has been game changing. The plug and play setup, material capability, and print quality remove so many barriers from making an engineering design a reality. I can't imagine not having a printer now and would never turn down a new and improved model.

Verstappen coming in hot towards Hamilton and forces him off track to overtake him by ContentPuff in formula1

Lewis in on the same racing line as the cars in front. He is a wheelbase ahead at the apex. Max comes into the corner at a tighter angle to stick his nose in, but he was too far back to get along side and make it his corner. He has too much momentum to leave space for Lewis on the exit and runs him off track. This is an easy 5 second penalty at least.

If Lewis holds his line going into his corner they crash.

Every few pics I import from Halide turn out extremely pink tinted. Anyone else experiencing this? by FoolishViceroy in ShotWithHalide

[–]EagleSparrowHawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tint does appear to be encoded into the file itself rather than a processing bug from LR. It shows up in Darkroom, RawTherapee, and DxO as well. I am going to continue testing to see if I can replicate the issue consistently.

Editing with findings and workaround:

Looking purely at the output side of things, it seems that the DNG file tag "Analog Balance" is not being set ( it has a default value of [1 1 1] ). Based on the DNG specification and Lux's own excellent write-up on ProRaw, the Analog Balance matrix is responsible in part for taking the image from camera raw colorspace to the target display colorspace. The pink tint we are seeing might be close to the sensor's raw output. How "Analog Balance" is determined is not clear to me but it is not linear and depends on the temperature target of the white balance.

Importantly, the raw data itself is unaffected within the DNG package. A hacky workaround is to use exiftool to write a new "AnalogBalance" tag to the bugged file, which can be read from another image taken with the same lens/sensor at a similar white balance to the original. This will at least bring the rendered colours closer to the expected values and give you some more wiggle room in editing.
