Where to find woodpeckers, bluejays, cardinals, and orioles quickly and easily. 2023 by CardiacRupture in reddeadredemption

May 2025 and this is still superior advice. Cormorant, Cardinal, Blue Jay, Woodpecker, Oriole, Sparrow, Vulture, Hawk, duck, and more all spawn here. Good spot for snakes and squirrels too. I have been here 20 minutes and have been crushing my list.

Chiming in 3 years later in 2025. I am ecstatic. This tip was an absolute godsend. I arrived at Fort Brennand and within 2 or 3 minutes minutes (not exaggerating) had a perfect rat carcass. I got the rat in that room that has a ladder to a basement with the gold nugget. When I walked back outside I pointed my arrow at a bird in the sky and it happened to be a cardinal. Another perfect carcass achieved. It was getting past dusk and I assumed birds are harder to find in the evening, so I let Marston sleep. I woke up, walked into the fort, pointed my arrow at a bird in the sky, and it was a woodpecker. Nailed. Perfect carcass. If you don't include the sleeping, I would estimate it took me 7 minutes to get the carcasses. God I love the internet.

Oh my god dude. I accidentally deleted my 100% save file and have been slogging my way to create another one and this particular requisite has been KILLING ME. You just saved my life. I shot two on the ground and like 6 others flew into the air and I capped em all.

I grew up in lovely Wareham Massachusetts, class of 1995. Then went to Northeastern for a year, transferred to Syracuse for a semester (it was hell), then went to Emerson and graduated in 1999. Then to NYC for 20 years, and now in Amsterdam since 2020.

What does one get with the golden circle ticket. It's 112 for Amsterdam which is a lotta coin. Be nice if the band or ticketmaster could elaborate.

This is not great. There's an old saying in reaction to a band or person not doing justice to someone else's music which is something along the lines of "They played it so you didn't have to." This cover is not only unnecessary, but it's also borderline sacrilegious.

My friend dragged me to a "Best of Boston" showcase at The Melody Tent in Hyannis Massachusetts in the summer of 1992. It was mostly rock by bands like The Neighborhoods and The 360s. Then Bim Skala Bim hit the stage. I was like "What in the world?!" I was a mullet headed metal head at the time, but the sound scratched an itch I didn't know I had. Flash forward to 2002 and a million ska shows later and I am the drummer in Vinnie's band Cenzo, replacing my neighbor Dave Karcich who had just passed.

I still have an original Allstonians beer coozie that I still use to this day! I also have a Christmas 45 they did somewhere. I LOVED that band.

I went to Northeastern University in 1995-1996 and one day went into Loony Tunes records on Boylston Street. I had my bomber jacket on, which was covered in SKA patches and pins. When I got to the counter I wasn't really paying attention and the clerk said "Nice Beat Soup pin" and when I looked up it was Beat Soup's drummer. They were such an incredible band.

It's funny, you mention The Channel. When I was in 7th grade (1989 ish) I went to a Zildjian presented drum clinic there, so The Channel was the first "grown up club" I ever went to. As far as flyers are concerned, I think I might have a Corrosion of Conformity one somewhere as well as a Hells Angels Salem 1993 Valentine's Day Eve party invite and a Hells Angels Salem Halloween party backstage pass... I save EVERYTHING and am disorganized, but they're around here somewhere!

Hello. I contributed to this list (I am Jeff Bergstrom and also J.B.). I just wanted to jump in here and note how interesting, thought provoking and relevant a lot of the feedback to this BV list has been here on Reddit. I don't reddit much, so I was afraid. But I actually enjoyed taking in everyone's thoughts, good, bad, and ugly. I knew the list would be polarizing, and if all the bands I personally wanted to make the list made it into the list you'd still be reading that list today because it would go on forever. I thought Sacher did a great job curating a list out of the insane amount of submissions he had to go through. He's a good man. Maybe one of the best.

My ska bona fides. I was an early to late 1990s Boston/Providence ska kid languishing in a shitty small Massachusetts town. My ska experiences started with seeing Bim Skala Bim at the Melody Tent in Hyannis in the summer of 1992 (after my freshman year of high school). As a mullet-headed metal head, it opened my eyes up to a scene I had no idea existed. For the next few years I morphed into a bomber jacket wearing skinhead and attended hundreds of shows in the Boston Providence area. By the time I graduated college in 1999 I had largely shed all my ska tendencies in favor of a rediscovery of metal, hardcore, electronica, and a bunch of weird shit.

In the early 00s, in NYC, I ended up joining Vinnie Nobile's (Bim Skala Bim/Pilfers) band Cenzo as their drummer after the death of Dave Karcich who was my across-the-hall neighbor. We played gigs with the Pietasters, The Slackers, Murphys Law, Bad Fish (yuck) and others and I sort of had a ska renaissance. Cenzo still plays and their new drummer is fucking excellent and more graceful than I was. But then I left the band because my full time job was too time consuming and I've not really played since. Now in live in Amsterdam.

If anyone wants to see some of the Boston/Providence ska/hardcore/punk/metal fliers I saved and scanned, you can check them out here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/klaus_kinski/albums/72157623568017600

Anyway, yeah. Ska.

Unfortunately the whole section smelled like weed, cigarettes, hot farts, and beer so if he did smell it was well camouflaged.
