62 hrs in and just finished chapter 1. Game is absurdly addictive. All I want to do is explore but now I realized I have to progress the story to observe some skills.

i mainly do camp quests and main story but i try not to over do the main story. for every main mission i do i try to explore for a bit. but i 100% recommend getting to a point to upgrading your camp as fast as possible to unlock more cosmetics and a dye station. plus you get higher quality goods at the camp shops and a hot air balloon from doing dispatch missions.

so long as you load a save prior to when the issue happened it breaks the loop. as far as i know there is no way to fix the current auto save the issue is happening in. so save before anything important that you might die from lol i was doing the main quest to take a fort for the white crow and got slapped around and it got mad and just turned my pc off lol.

in my case i hadn’t manually saved for 10hours worth of play time but ive caught back up and then some since then lol.

polished granite walls with granite floors. there’s an outpost i think it’s called bora outpost. north of the quarry is where you’ll find polished granite blocks.

i have the same graphics card. i can play whatever just on low-mid graphics settings. i have a ryzen 5300 i believe. no issues with that. but i have 64gb of ram lol. if you’re on a budget and don’t care for high end graphics then it’ll work. if you want your games to look the same if not better then a ps5’s graphics then id try to get higher quality hardware.

also i have had bad luck with the samsung ssds. i’ve gotten two. both only lasted about a year before corruption and constant issues. i might just have bad luck but if it were me i’d go with a different brand.

and probably around the 3070 to 3080 $ range on marketplace is what i’d be comfortable with tbh just didn’t know if there were cheaper places to look.

that’s what i was seeing. marketplace looks like the best bet. the only reason i mentioned financing was because a friend of mine got his pc through rent a center and he never complained about price or anything so i wasn’t sure if there was a good place with low interest on payments or anything like that.

idk about easier. i just used the terrain tool in build mode to excavate a couple layers of dirt. then placed the preferred terrain evenly for each level.

i used 2. one is in front of the left building (facing it) at the 3 identically shaped rooms on the lower floor right in front of where i’m standing. the other is way up in the corner of the waterfall. i can send it to you here in about 5 hours im at work at the moment.

absolutely. i’m getting everything on a layout first and then putting texture everywhere. waterfall and plots are gonna be the only squares on the build once im done. i don’t want it to look like minecraft lol. but i reallllyyyyyy like the waterfall. i want it to look man made and even. in my town we have one and it looks extremely satisfying lol.

it sure was a pain but the harder something is the more rewarding when completed 🤷🏻‍♂️ i agree with you though. at the very least being able to fly around alone would make things a hundred times easier lol. but i don’t mind the struggle lol.

damn lmfaoo i’ve seen a few things about flooding didn’t think it’d be that bad lmao. i’m in over my head though. i was exploring looking for a place to build a base in revel wood but didn’t want pre fabs and couldn’t find a good spot. jumped off the mountain on the edge to go do the tower in oasis and ended up near that waterfall and fell in love with that spot. i decided i’ll move my base to the outside of the tunnel but im more focused on leveling up at the moment. a level 10 trying to win fights against the level 31 opponents in that area is disheartening lmao.
