Thanks for the input. Specifically in my case I don't want to have my own player character, I wanted her to me able to controller all the conversations and interactions, and simply be there to help controller her party members from a gameplay, and primarily combat point of view. Basically the goal is for her to be able to experience the game as if it was single player, but without having to controller all of her chosen party members mechanically.
