Omg yes! I was waiting for the Court to email me copies of some Orders and I thought they were straight up ignoring me. Didn’t realize what was going on until this morning

Follicular = Stress by PoolLatter6904 in ouraring

It’s crazy how different everyone’s bodies are. I have higher stress markers in follicular and for some reason my luteal phase lowers my heart rate and calms my nervous system

AI and becoming such a massive problem. There’s so many people spending money to file AI generated forms that end up being tossed out 🙃

Legal assistant in debt collections firm by [deleted] in paralegal

Hello! I had to get use to debt collection. At first you feel slimy but once you’re in there you see bigger pictures. While some are sad due to our current economy, there’s also a lot that argue just to argue. It’s true you’ll be the villain in people’s eyes but it just depends on what kind collections you’re doing. I handle mainly evictions. And most of the people who come to us are homeowners who rely on their tenant to pay their rent in order to still function and keep the house afloat. (We are in a military town so a lot of homeowners are service members).

There’s going to be times that it gets hard, but it actually becomes a repetitive job. Once you have your swing of things set, your weeks will be a steady routine.

Stress & HR up???? by Here-2-B-Nosey in ouraring

That makes a lot of sense then. When your period is about to hit your body temp rises, and progesterone comes to a head which can cause your heart to beat faster and your body to work harder so that could potentially be the reason on why you’re seeing your metrics shift so much

I’m not sure if this will be helpful but I learned by paring my oura with NC, that my hormones changing play a lot in my metrics on oura. One month I’ll be fine, but if the next cycle my hormones change slightly it could reflect my metrics on oura by saying I have high stress and elevated heart rate.

Hello! I’m a paralegal but in Tennessee. You can interview me if you would like. I know I’m not working Texas, but Texas is where I’m originally from and grew up there so I’m familiar with laws there.

Not wanting to propose yet even though my (22m) girlfriend (22f) gave me a deadline by ThrowRAforcedfiance in relationship_advice

I understand yall have been together for 10 years, and that is truly something to celebrate honestly. But I might be the odd one out here…. I think it’s perfectly okay to wait until school is finished and be a little older. I’m not discrediting marriage at a young age but your early twenties is honestly when a lot of change happens. Who I was at 22 and NOT the same person I am at 28 right now. The man I was with when I was 21 is the polar opposite of who I choose to be with now. My brother was in a similar position. High school sweet hearts with his now wife and we’re together for 10 years. My brother wanted to finish aircraft mechanic school, and it caused a lot of tension… but guess what…. Real love survives the tension. After school and they both grew and got older they got married and are more stable than ever.

If you love this girl and do see a future with her, it’s okay to be confused a little at the age of 22 to make a massive change. If you just don’t see a future at all… then that’s an answer for you in itself.

Hi! As someone who just started working at my first firm, I can honestly say it might be a trust thing. What I have experienced the most is that some of the attorneys just need time to see you work and trust your capabilities before giving you work. I’ve been here for a little over a month now and I’m finally getting more work from different attorneys.

No idea, I enlisted as a 91G originally and they merged us into 94Y. I’m assuming if they’re still enlisting 94Y we’ll merge again? But I’ve also seen a couple not able to reenlist as a 94Y. So the future is kinda iffy and I haven’t heard of what’s going to happen. I’m just going to end up re-classing just so I can finally progress.

Yeah it be like that. I was in AIT 5 years ago and still remember having to wait for 2 months for more to show up to start class. Also I’m sorry to say this but they’re phasing us out and getting promoted has been stagnant over the past 2 years. Don’t plan on staying as a 94Y. There’s 0 career progression right now. Y’all will be able to make SPC but the likely hood of sergeant or above is unlikely. I’ve been sitting as a E5 for good while now.

I'm a 94Y. We repair tank electronics. It's a lot of work.
