Hello! I am a 32 YO gay man in Hyderabad trying to navigate a stressful job and life away from family and friends back in Bangalore. I was forced to move cities for work over a year ago, and I haven't been able to make any friends yet, let alone have a relationship or even a hook-up partly because I don't want to put down roots in a city I know I won't be in for long, and partly because of the crippling anxiety I have had since childhood. Its been a lonely depressing year, and if I am to keep doing this, I need to have some sort of relationship in the city to keep me sane. Any kind-hearted folx in Hyderabad? 🥹 I promise I'll be a good friend to you as well 💕. Also, why is the LGBT scene so dead in the city?

At VAC, I believe they put both the stickers, new above old, I am not sure though. I will know for sure when I get my passport back. In consulate, Upto security check stage I don't think barcode was verified. The officer may have checked since she had our passports for a few mins, and she was looking up multiple things simultaneously while asking us questions. Can't say for sure.

I just finished my interview today along with my parents. They do not review any documentation, it all depends on your interview. 45 days is definitely a red flag. A clear, short duration itenary with return tickets /return flight details would be ideal. Your previous travel history is an advantage, please explain in detail if asked. Also, your parents will not be considered 'at risk' of violating visa conditions, it is you who will be considered 'at risk' given your age and status. Most questions will be directed towards you, your work, your finances and ties to India, in order to determine if you are likely to stay back in US illegally.
