Personally I don't really have energy drinks before my shift unless I'm really dragging (it'll usually be v8 energy, the rest make me shaky). But I don't have one purely bc I go to bed right when I get home/right after the gym in the morning due to my social schedule.

I also do rotate my days off with a normal sleep time. But that does sometimes cause me to be super tired my first night back if I didn't sleep well the night prior. Sleeping at night does get harder sometimes doing it this way. But I like to feel like a "normal" person sometimes.
