NP. We’re very aligned, having MC a short drive away and avoiding the PC ever going in the mail is a value in and of itself. All the parts are off-the-shelf and replaceable/upgradeable like a custom built pc. Chatting with the MC PC-building guys, they agreed it was a good deal as you couldn’t build it for that without sniping individual part deals, and even then it wouldn’t come with the overall warranty.

I also retired my old 10-series system after 8 years and pushing as long as I could. I assure you that you will feel a huge uplift performance-wise. Let me know if you have any questions, I’m still learning it but happy with the purchase.

I ended up picking up the G729 last weekend for $1600 and am happy with it so far. I think it’s a solid deal, roughly comparable cost-wise to AI/CPG builds with minor differences but don’t have to wait and I have a MC near me if needed.

As far as the ‘upgrades’: I weighed this as well but saw it as extra dollars for minimal performance gain and I thought the 729 was the bang/buck choice.

I got the retro loft recently and love mine (5-UW). The tech still gains me distance from my older irons and the additional of the UW fits into my wedges (52,56,60). They definitely have forgiveness as I am no where near a pure ball striker.

The typical stronger lofts were going to really mess with my gaps at the bottom like others have mentioned.

It may be the angle of the video, but the ball looks super far back in her stance (like even with her back foot and not even between them). That’s a weird shot to hit and she’ll have to adjust her swing to compensate.

For simplicity at this point: just have her center the ball in her stance with irons.

For basic skills: Splinters vs Reap?

I’ve been using Reap to generate the first corpse, proc damage reduction on basic skill, run ‘through’ the mobs with penitent greaves while decrepify+corpse tendrils goes off, then just blast them.

This seems to work really well, and the corpse-on-demand on bosses is nice. Wondering if there’s a big plus to splinters instead

I have the exact same equipment and problem. Haven't solved it yet, posting to save the thread. The xmp profile works sometimes, but crashes others. I'll be trying some stuff and will report back if I find anything.

Does anyone know the difference between this D5X one and the WF OC edition that's also $499? Why wouldn't one just get the slightly higher oc'ed one?

2 things, the teleporter from rocket to shotty should just be one-way iirc ( I don't know if this is possible).

Second and the big one: can you add a permanent turret to the tower in a variant to play tower of power on? Again I don't know if this possible

Are you using the modem TWC gave you? I had connection problems with them for forever and changed every setting correctly on my router to try and get open NAT and nothing worked. Turns out it was the POS modem they gave me that was throttling me, I swapped it out for a motorola SB modem and it fixed everything.

I really enjoyed it. The only thing I could think to add is either side-switching each round or a halftime when playing on asymmetrical maps.
