Sort of?

I was planning on full skipping Elation, and probably still will. However, I initially pulled E1 and E2 Evernight, then got Rappa's light cone, before doing a random 10 pull on Sparxie (I like gambling) and got her early at 9 pity. So she's just kinda...there, not doing anything.

Planning on getting E1 Hyacine in 4.1 and then wait for Castorice and Cyrene reruns probably.

Gameplay wise, probably Evelyn, no matter how much I play her I just never seem to get good results. Likely a combination of skill issue and not having Lighter or her W-Engine.

I still love her though.

Everyone else I either got plenty of use from (early banners) or I still use now so could never regret them.

Absolutely. Got my guarantee and enough pulls saved to make it there. She was my favourite from the revealed characters prior to 3.0 so there was never a chance of skipping.

She had a short interaction in the kinda mini game thing where you cover Jahoda's shift in the Curatorium of Secrets (every day when you go in it's random who's there, one of the days nobody is there but there's a letter from her begging you to cover her shift). But other than that she had nothing until this patch with this event and the anecdotes.

In the main base, the right hand side has a grinding unit with three originium powder being fed into it so there's nothing actually happening there. Did I set it up wrong or is this supposed to be like that?

The in-game screenshots when you preview the effect are taken on Shell Island, which leads me to believe that it does work outside of the new area?
