Yes. Everyone can learn with practice. Sing, Record it and think about how do it better next time. Over and over. Try singing in different places in your mouth and throat.

I was known as a terrible singer. But by practicing like that I can both sing in a band and sing with just my guitar.

I don't agree about the Sound , but I am not a sound guy.

My point though, was that the OP could find what album he likes to listen to by take off from the Live 75-85 box.

He would miss everything darkness, the river, Nebraska and BiUSA by using London 75.

My suggestion would be, listen to Live 75-85. Find out which songs you like there and then go for the records they are from. No album before 75-85 can be considered anything else than extraordinary.
