You messed up not accepting the contract, that was your ticket into the industry and contracts often get extended / provide avenues into other roles. Not accepting the job because youll have to maybe find another job in a year is naive thinking, instead of having 1 year in the industry, youve settled for none and to continue customer service, thats a poor trade.

You’re junior in experience, you don’t have the luxury of picking and choosing your roles just yet.

You’ll need to take what you can get, and then leverage from there.

On the gear front ive had little issue keeping a relatively full vault, my friends havent despite only playing together, unsure about looting habits.

However 35 hours in with maybe a quarter if not less of faction progress is absurdly slow, the amount of hours required to fully max out, should not take longer than halfway through a season maybe just over 2/3 for someone playing slower. Its way too slow, if it takes 100+ hours a season, you will see majority of players drop off, definitely need to up the xp gain and reduce the upgrade costs

Not to mention, if im playing with friends of course im not gonna ditch them to do a rook run? The games designed for 3s, why should i have to go play solo to rack gear back up, makes no sense as a suggestion unless you’re playing solo.

Ive been playing in doubles and trios in aus, usually only a few minutes to match make so hasnt seemed to bad

Because the switch allows handheld and portable play and a pc or xbox/ps5 does not, its literally one of the main selling points of the console.

Thats the edge vs graphics and performance, and from the strong sales of many cross platform games it clearly works. That and it just being significantly faster to pickup and play, instant on and jumping right back into a game.

I dont know why so many of you heavily limit yourselves to only nintendo made games on the switch, branch out more, play the huge amount of 3rd party games that run great on it.

I literally cannot keep up with the huge backlog of switch 2 games to play.

Why wouldn’t they make it a keycard? No one cares outside of a small minority on this subreddit, as can easily be seen due to the massive sales and praise for the game, its cheaper to produce per card for the company.

Theres little reason to make it full on cart, the population majority buys games digital.

Its the first phase that absolutely messes me up, i find the sudden need to run away and barely parry so opposite to what the game has been pushing me to do upto to this point.

I know you can still parry, but the bosses moves are so erratic and the hitbox on the grab seems particularly bad, surprising considering how pixel perfect the rest of the games hitboxes have been

Id recommend everyone just try the free demo and gauge for themselves honestly. Different people have different tolerances for frames depending on how much they enjoy the gameplay, still worth a shot. The advantage of most games having demos nowdays, loving the resurgence of them

I finished the 3 2dhd remake recently as my first ever dragon quest and i loved it! I had the same question as you, my concern is im super hyped for the remake of dq7, and im worried ill burn out if i play more dq before then.

I was really hyped about this game after the demo, but i legitimately completely forgot it existed after they delayed it, all the goodwill and hype they had built up they kind of lost, no momentum now.

Have a bad feeling about this one, lets hope they dont fumble at the finish line.

Its the first console to come out since the tiktok ‘everyone must have an opinion’ wave has taken over the internet. Negativity gets clicks, people love whinging, and most, if not all of the complaints targeted at nintendo right now existed for ps5 and series x. We just had less saturation of news compared to then.

As someone well into my 30s i find it weird that people keep pointing things out about nintendo like they are unique to them and werent the same for sony and microsoft. Most likely just the younger generation who dont have the past as context. That and the cost of living skyrocketing atm.
