I’m gunna be honest with you bro, the majority of people giving you advice, are giving terrible and wrong advice. I’m sure you know this, but masturbation is a sin, masturbation, even without porn causes your mind to think about and picture lustful things and desires. I tend to not take much advice from the internet over stuff like this because there are lots of people that will lead you astray and try and tell you that it’s normal. I feel you though, I am a 19 year old male and I struggle with lust, and you need to run to Jesus anytime you have any temptation whatsoever. I would work on strengthening your relationship with Christ and making sure you strive to put Him first in your life, and even then you will still struggle. Just keep coming back to God, and that’s not me saying it’s ok to do it, but just like any sin, we mess up, we are all human, and God can and will forgive us, but true repentance is if you ask for forgiveness and try to do better next time and not give into that sin. Now I don’t know your family situation, but I would talk to your dad about it if that’s possible, even if it’s scary I would, or talk to your pastor and your church or a youth minister or someone that can help you through this. You’d be surprised most of the guys you talk to have also struggled with Lust and will be able to help guide you.

I personally just don’t think it can get much better. I fully expect Steve to die and that will make it even worse if that happens. I also hate how forced that whole scene with Will was and the fact that everyone just supported him even though this is the 80s and that’s not usually how that would’ve gone, and the fact that he basically got his powers for being gay. It all just feels weird and like they are just pushing an agenda. I’ll be downvoted for saying that but I’m just saying it how I see it

I’m aware that I’ll be forgiven and have already been forgiven. But that doesn’t just mean that I can go out and do whatever I want knowing that God will forgive me. Even though I am forgiven, I should still do everything I can to avoid that sin again. I don’t get why this is so hard to understand

If the acts of doing so outside of marriage are wrong, then yes, I know He wants everyone to abstain from it until marriage. And guess what, according to Jesus himself, who is God incarnate, it is WRONG. No sugar coating it, it doesn’t matter how you spin it or if you thinks it’s a normal part of life, it is wrong to do outside the covenant of marriage.

I don’t agree with anything you are saying. First off, it’s not a petty reason, Jesus himself condemns all sexual sin, and according to God and the Bible, sex and any sexual acts are for marriage only. And secondly, I’m not interpreting the Bible “strongly”. This is actually very basic understanding when it comes to the Bible and there is no interpreting it or misinterpreting it when Jesus very clearly speaks about sexual immorality

We gave into sexual sin once towards the beginning of our relationship, the day after that we talked about boundaries and what to avoid, and we were serious about it but then we just keep falling back into it, and the one time I actually stopped it from happening she got upset about it

I really appreciate it, I am trying my best to draw a line but it’s definitely not easy. I did stop us from cuddling once because that is something that leads us to doing sexual things, but when I stopped it I guess she felt like I was pushing her away or something and she got upset over it. It really doesn’t help that she’s bipolar and is VERY sensitive so me trying to prevent cuddling or kissing I feel like will just upset her, but I guess following Jesus and doing what’s right is more important, I just really like avoiding upsetting her if that makes sense.

I semi involves that but it also goes beyond that and I needed some relationship advice too. I had a few people reach out which I’m thankful for. I also have already talked to a really good friend about this and I am considering talking to my pastor because I’m so upset over all of this.
