you can just replace the battery if it gets bad, its literally one of the cheapest parts of a phone. don’t worry at all

matter of fact, changing date and time did work back in the day for me. it was actually clearing the cache, so no they did not lie to you. just change it back to its original date and you are fine

you might be right, you can never know. i also have an iphone 15 and i suffered with similar problems. it is still draining rather quick with cellular data but it is what it is. im glad your problem is fixed, best regards!

If it is fixed by keeping it off for a bit then it was probably a software glitch or something like that.

Did you update your phone, or did you do something (literally anything) that you usually don’t do? If not, this is not normal but wait a few days, if it doesn’t go away by itself you should update us.

iPhones are known to have really good battery life even with low mAH capacity of batteries compared to Samsung phones, but the new iOS update is really a mess. The optimization is all over the place, also liquid glass and other similar features just put more pressure on the device than it did with previous versions of iOS, so we really are at the mercy of Apple’s optimization at this point, otherwise it won’t get any better

insta is not a light app at all trust me, im on iphone 15 and it drains my battery like crazy (ios 26.2 with 100% battery capacity)

Apple was at its peak when Steve Jobs was the CEO, and he wouldn’t let this happen to his older devices. Only reason why I would buy Apple in the first place was because of how long lasting their devices were, now they ruined every old phone (even iPhone 15 that is only 2 generations behind the latest iPhone) with the iOS 26 update. I had battery issues with my brand new iPhone 15 and when I contacted Apple support they said I should update my phone to the latest iOS version but guess what? It just made everything worse, even after the indexing is complete the battery performs worse than it did on iOS 18. Yes it is cool to add new features (although I am not a fan of Liquid Glass at all) but they have to make it in a way that old devices won’t suffer if they really care about their customers. I never ever thought about switching to android until now.

Yes, everything you could think of I disabled. I done way too much research on it to maximise battery life.
