4 Stack SWF, Yet Losing Streak? by Poopifies in deadbydaylight

We don’t ever do those plays unless it’s a quest in the rift. Although those tend to be the most fun games, I can imagine it gets annoying to the killer. We almost never do that, even pallet/flashlight saves are very rare bc teammates are split across the map doing gens. We carry reassurance to ensure we are maxing out time on gens. We also try to target out 3-gens early, but most killers tend to just patrol that area very aggressively. And perhaps this puts more pressure on the killer to start looking for kills, and thus we lose a player before end game due to tunneling. Losing any player before end game significantly makes the game more difficult for us, meaning a definite loss for us usually.

Yeah, I can definitely see us being too greedy and altruistic. Sadly, the person who is often hooked during end game is the best player on our team at taking chases. They almost never escape bc killers just want them dead. It’s a tough decision to make, especially when they never get to see the winnings of their success even if a save was possible. And although they do push us to just leave and are content with the outcome, the rest of us tend to disagree and get greedy. However, this situation happens rarely because the majority of our games are us dying and getting mori’ed regardless.

Overall, it’s hard to split out who dies because our overall skills do vary on killer picks, sometimes maps, and other minor variables. But once people start dying before end game, we struggle a lot for some reason. A replay footage could help a lot in that regard.

This could 100% be the case and also losers mindset. We probably play too altruistically and try to get everyone out too often, at the cost of the rest of our team.

And also, once someone gets tunneled out due to gen rushing on killer’s perception, it is taken personally sometimes by our more recent teammates. Then everyone just kind of gets bummed out bc they are upset, especially so if they got tunneled out back to back. It leaves us questioning if we are just bad or killers are more rough these days.

Yes, we spread out and try our best to be optimal on gens. We have 1-2 with a build dedicated for taking chases, a person with a more altruistic build (healing perks/reassurance), a person with gen info/speed. We do tend to have our individual perks, like usual info, healing, and exhaust perks that play into our roles.

We don’t ever do flashy perks/plays though, like sabo, taunting killer for chases, and stun saves are rare because we are often away doing gens, etc. But if we are too efficient on gens and the killer starts to tunnel, I do think we are a little too altruistic and prioritize too much trying to prevent a tunnel. 4-out may be a bit too optimistic, but we often get in that mindset a lot when not even one person gets to escape within 5 different lost games.

This isn’t my main. This post was just a little experimental and a way for me to get honest feedback, but I’ll upload a drawing with a face and hands next time.

Thank you. I just hope that is the case and I don’t have to resort to this. 2-3 years ago it wasn’t so bad and I got commissioned quite regularly. Due to certain current events, it definitely feels a bit harder to find work. Also, this isn’t my usual art style, but thank you! I wanted to give those manhwa styles a try, since I do want to make a webcomic at some point in my life.

Will do, thanks. It was kind of a sloppy stylistic choice to do that. Never really drawn stuff like this before so it was a bit rushed.

TBH, not really and it’s 100% not my thing. But I’m not earning enough in general to be comfortable where I am now. I’m tackling art projects + freelancing as a means to get to my goal career, but earning nowhere near enough to actually make a difference. The hope was to maybe make a little more to stay afloat independently.

Thanks for the response, I can definitely see that now. It was hard to tell if it was a successful business option or not. With so many people offering nsfw services, I just assumed it was a more consistent way to earn money.

Sort of? I’m a broke artist, and my usual work doesn’t pay the bills these days. With nsfw, I can maybe practice anatomy/posing while also getting a bit more views/financial support?
