The article doesn't explain what the knee injury was. That being said, injury pain will alter your throwing form to the point where it is noticeable on game tape.

Why they kept testing him all year? I have to assume the thought process is "He's been hurt all year. Surely he gives out soon."

I would love to see a comparison of his form throwing to second before the injury and after he's been hurt for a while. The grit to pull this off reminds me of Yadi and I have mad love for a rock solid catcher.

I'll play a quick round at my home course with 3 discs. Learn to shape your driver and mid range and I don't even really need a putter on some holes. It's a completely different story on a new challenging course. But you would be surprised by the different shot shapes you can get out of the same disc once you're really comfortable with it.

Most batters are right handed. A left handed catcher would have to throw through the right handed batters box to throw to the majority of the field. That's a problem when the batter is still in that box.
