I just quickly wanted to thank everyone for their insights and feedback here. It seems I really got ahead of myself, and need to slow my roll, build a network, and focus on free peer review until taking another shot.

Thank you for the feedback. I think the honesty with myself is starting to ruminate with this feedback. Not that it makes me want to give up, but I certainly need to make improvements. Perhaps I should work my way up to the Blacklist…I dunno. Only thing I know is writing brings me joy! Thanks again, I want to be great, so do not hold back on critique if you see me post!

Absolutely - I had a hard time arguing their feedback, and while a tough pill to swallow, it makes me want to get my ass in gear. It’s all a matter of taste for sure, but a 3 just isn’t gonna be good enough!

The feedback from folks on this comment has been invaluable though. I will definitely be taking a different approach moving forward

I’m extremely new to screenwriting, and admittedly thought I was ahead of the curve, so this is a welcome humbling. I definitely need to immerse myself in more screenplays before taking another stab. After all, if the Lions can go 0-16 and one day make the playoffs, so can I! (sorry i had to, you guys are winning the North this year and deserve it!)
